Zayn POV

"You're in? What changed your mind?"

"Nothing. I just had a wake-up call."

Yeah, I didn't believe him for a second. Once Liam had his mind set on something, it wasn't changing, so there was something big here.

"You're lying, Liam."

"And, you're being annoying, Zayn. But, you don't see me pointing that out, do you?"

Sarcasm didn't suit him, but I backed off...for now.

"Okay, fine. It's late. Do you want to go home and sleep or just crash here?"

"I'll sleep here. I don't wanna....um, wake up Kadin."

His hesitation spoke volumes, but I let it go. It was really late, and the last thing I wanted to do was argue. I threw him a blanket as he got comfortable on the couch. Walking back to my/Keating's door, I grabbed a pillow and curled up into a ball. I couldn't be sure, but before I fell asleep, I could've sworn I heard muffled crying from Liam's direction. No, that couldn't be right.

------

The next morning I woke up to a figure standing over me.

"Get up", the annoying voice said.

"What time is it?"

"Almost 7."

"In the morning?” I asked, getting upset.

"Yes."

"You have obviously lost your mind if you think I'm getting up right now."

"I can't sleep", she whined.

"I don't care. Who in their right mind gets up this early anyway?"

"Well, unlike some people who I won't mention, I USED to have a job. That job required me to get up early. My body is used to it."

"So, get un-used to it."

She rolled her eyes and kicked me in the stomach. I fought the urge to retaliate.

"Bi-."

"-tch. I'll finish it for you."

I looked up at her, stunned.

"Yeah, well when you've been kidnapped it changes a person. So, excuse me if I'm not the most cheerY person ever."

She rolled her eyes again and fell into the couch, waking Liam up.

"Well", I said, getting up now that I was fully awake, "if you're so unhappy about being here, I can always put you out of your misery."

"How?"

I nudged my head towards the .9 millimeter that was sitting on the coffee table.

"Stop complaining", I growled.

Once again, she rolled her eyes, but said nothing. Smart girl.

"Yeah, that's what I thought."

Liam pulled his head from under the covers and glanced at us.

"What could you two possibly be arguing about this early in the morning?"

"She's so unhappy that she was kidnapped and had to leave her job, blah, blah, blah", I mocked her.

Liam forced a smile towards her and joined me in the kitchen.

"Maybe you should take it easy on her", he whispered.
