Unexpected

Chapter 2: Cleaning Session

"C'mon guys, get to it! You're doing great! All Might called out. "You're almost finished!"
"All Might-sensei!!! I'm so tired! I can't do this anymore!" Yelled Mineta.
"What? What did you say, Mineta?! I could not hear over the wimpy sounds of a childish man. It was interfering with our conversation. What has thou spoken?!" All Might asked, innocently.
"Seeeeeeenseeeeeeeeeei!" Mineta yelled, exhaustedly. Scrunching his eyes in pain.
"Don't blow your fuse, Mineta! You can't let little things get to you. You must be strong!" All Might said, encouragingly. He put his hand on Mineta's shoulders and the other in the air and shook it hard. "Speaking of blowing your fuses..." He paused. "It seems like Bakugou my boy has stepped up his game. Both in personality and technique!" All Might looked at him nervously. Should I stop him and let him take a break? He's been working pretty hard! But it seems like he doesn't want to lose concentration right now. He swung his head back and forth looking around the yard at everyone's participation. Hmm.... The only ones really working are Shouto Todoroki, Iida Tenya, Katsuki Bakugou and Momo Yaoyorozu. With the exception of Asui Tsuyu. But the others... Ah... They're trying. At least...
"Alright, guys! You are all looking good! You should all be done within five minutes. If you're not done by then, there will be no ice cream, no sleep and no training." As soon as All Might's words left his lips a herd of students began digging up more ground and began to put in more effort in their cleaning duties as time went by. Kaminari looked horrified as he repeatedly dug in to the dirt and counted numbers randomly in a fast paced mumble. Uraraka looked as if she was about to blow up and tried hauling all the dirt she could in one lift. "Phew!" She grunted. She turned over the lump of dirt and began to dig again. After the 5 minute mark chimed, they were ordered to go back inside the Academy and put back the shovels. When everyone made their way back into All Might's classroom everybody waited silently for All Mights' next order.
"All Might." Called Shouto Todoroki.
"Hm?" All Might replied.
"Shouldn't we be taking this time to train in secret? I think obeying the rules is of the utmost importance but this is wasting precious time we could learn about the limits and extended abilities of our quirks. I think it's time to move on in a different area." Todoroki looked at All Might seriously. "Todoroki my boy. I think you know how important it is to follow the rules. It could risk someone's life. Injure your comrades and even put your loved ones in danger. There is a reason why we are punishing you the way we are. Please trust us and believe in us. Especially Aizawa-sensei... Though he is a bit off, he means well." Shouta, what will you do with them this time? I'm putting them in your hands. Good luck. He thought. "Well then!" He exclaimed! "Since we can't go off of school grounds without permission I had our delicious ice creams and sandwiches delivered here!" All the students yelled and cheered dancing around as if they just taken their first steps. Yahoo-ing and ca-hooting in a joyous cry. "Tch!" Todoroki said, sharply. He hung his head low in anger and left. "Ah, ah! Todo... roki-kun--" Midoriya called nervously. "All Might-sensei is right. B-b-but I t-think you're right, TOO! I think we should organize our time and speed up our sentence by doubling our work. And then building up rest so we could begin training." Todoroki turned. "Well--" He started. "Awww shut your trap! No one wants to hear about your damn plans, Deku. Todoroki you've got a lot of nerve complaining! Why don't y'all two shut up and get over it! Do your damn jobs!" Katsuki screamed. "Kacchan..." Deku gasped, fearfully. Todoroki looked at him coldly. "What an odd nuisance. So annoying."
"HAHAHAHAHA! SO FUCKING FUNNY. THAT SHOULD BE MY LINE!" Yelled Bakugou.
"Bakugou my boy, calm down!" Yelled All Might.
"Oh. All Might, I can't. All this is getting me riled up! This part of the punishment is something that will help me along the way and this is nothing but a stepping stone. I WILL surpass YOU."
"BA-B-B-AKUGOU! DON'T DO THIS. WE JUST FINISHED BEING PUNISHED!" Uraraka yelled. Anger and fear entangled her. Her face began to beam deep red.
"I will defeat all of you and become number one." He ranted.
"I'll go call the ice cream and deli shop. To see how far they are from us!" All Might shouted. He took out his phone and began dialing a number. "Hello! It's Toshinori. The customer who called in for 2 sets of 15 sandwiches? And 30 ice cream cones? I think I also recalled calling for some drinks? Ah... Ice tea, I believe. Uh huh... Yes." Everybody had fallen silent as All Might began talking on the phone. He stayed on the line for 20 minutes talking to the employee about raising kids and how work can be stressing. He even went as far as saying that one day they should switch jobs just for the fun of it. "Okay, thank you! See you in a little bit then! Bye!" After he got off of the phone he turned around and yelled cheerfully, "Good news guys! It's here! Let's go outside and get it!" All Might ran out of his room waking up Aizawa.
"What the--? Hey, what's going on?" Asked Aizawa. He pulled himself out of his sleeping bag and scrambled to the door. Everyone followed him out and found him at the school entrance with some packages in his hands. "Come on guys, help me out! It's y'all food!"
Aizawa became upset. "ALL MIGHT... Who is going to pay for all this?!"
"Oh. Me of course. I mean, I wouldn't mind if you helped in... On second thought I could be a little short.... Haha." All Might laughed nervously as he opened his wallet.
Aizawa tried taking a deep breath and took out his wallet. His face was full of anger but his words were soft. "What are friends for, right?"
Everyone ran back to the rooms and were given the option on which class to eat in and with who.
As everyone became settled in, they celebrated the last day they would have to unnecessarily clean.
