Chapter 18: Double Trouble

"Everyone got their slips in? I'm checking them all today." Aizawa informed them.
"Yeah, yeah. We got it all in." Kaminari groaned.
"Hey." Kirishima whispered.
"Huh?" Midoriya replied.
"Did you ever go to that event with that Toriyama guy?" He asked.
"HAH? YOU HEARD THAT?!" Midoriya yelled.
Everyone turned their heads.
"Uh, yeah. I was at the gate. I only heard him say he was going to pick you up. Then Kaminari called to me. He was barely making it sprinting down the street so I ran to him and we chatted." Kirishima answered.
Everyone turned their heads back to the front.
"O-oh...okay." Midoriya stated.
His cheeks turned red.
"Th-the... then you s-saw? Kacchan..." Midoriya asked.
"Oh. Yeah!" Kirishima emphasized.
"AH!" Midoriya yelled.
"Bakugou and you were fighting, right? I don't know why but he deserves whatever's coming to him." Kirishima added.
Midoriya sighed.
"Oh. Haha! Who knows! Yeah, he's got a big mouth on him."
"Yeah. And a lot to learn." Kirishima agreed.
"Well, let yesterday's bygones be bygones." Midoriya said.
"So... did y'all hang?" He asked.
"Uhm... yes. But just for a little while. My mother was worried about him. She doesn't know him like Kacchan." Midoriya chuckled nervously.
"Oooh. I see. Well, that's good as long as you had fun." Kirishima chirped.
"Hey, you still talking to dipshit over there?" Bakugou asked.
Bakugou had his hands behind his head with his chair tilted back.
"Yeah, I'm still talking to him what about it?" He asked.
"We're gonna hang today." Bakugou stated.
"Today? I'm not sure if I'm free." Kirishima answered bluntly.
"TODAY." Bakugou's voice rose.
"Whatever." Kirishima scoffed and looked away.
"I'll see you after school." Bakugou said as he looked at Kirishima.
What in the world? What's going on between them?! Midoriya thought.
After break time ended and lunch time transcended everyone began to hover into their own groups.
"I'm tired." Hagakure groaned.
"Me too." Kaminari agreed.
"Did anyone see the news about the new villain in town?" Mineta asked.
"Oh yeah! That weird looking guy with the dreadlocks!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed.
"He wasn't that bad looking. Besides we should be estimating him on his power, not features." Todoroki interfered.
"Well, they'll be caught soon anyway." Jirou said. "So what's the point in remembering it?"
"True." Iida answered. "But you know what they say, Jirou-san. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer."
"OH YEAH. LIKE A CERTAIN SOMEBODY." Uraraka emphasized.
"Ugh." Iida sighed.
He raised his right hand to his forehead and massaged his temples.
"What are you doing today, Jirou?" Kaminari asked.
"Nothing. Why? Wanna chill?" Jirou asked.
"Yeah. That'd be a good change of pace." He answered.
Kirishima's expression changed.
"Hey..." Bakugou whispered.
"Yaoyorozu wanna hang out together too?" Tsuyu asked.
"Yeah, sure! What did you have in mind?" Yaoyorozu answered.
"Shopping." She answered.
"Oooooh! That sounds nice! Mind if Aoyama and I come?" Ashido cheered.
"Yeah, the more the merrier." Yaoyorozu and Tsuyu said in unison.
"Mademoiselle, I did not authorize this." Aoyama protested.
"You're going and that's final!" Ashido declared.
"Mineta. You can come with us if you don't have anything to do. Jirou and I are going to rock out a bit and maybe head to the mall or the movies." Kaminari suggested.
Kirishima's expression changed again.
He sighed in relief.
Bakugou kept staring at him in silence.
"Really?! Like really really?!" Mineta asked.
"Then I'll accompany! If that's fine with you, then I'll definitely come!" Uraraka said cheerfully.
"Yeah! I need more girls!" Jirou said.
"Hot mama!!!! TWO hot females in my presence?!" Mineta screamed as he squeezed his hands open and close in the air.
"Never mind, I don't think you can come." Jirou said disgusted
"I-I... I was just kidding! Joke! It's a joke!" He said desperately.
"I'll see what Sero and Kouda have in mind." Iida said aloud.
"We're gonna go play video games and at my house." Sero replied.
"We're going to train with our quirks!" Ojiro commented. "Shouji and Tokoyami and I."
"Satou what are you doing?" Hagakure asked.
"Oh nothing. Probably bake sweets again. I think training your quirk is a great idea. I need to get started!" Satou cheered.
"That's nice! Maybe I'll go and train with you?" Hagakure suggested.
"H-huh?" He asked.
"C'mon, my quirk is already active, I'm invisible all the time. I'd like to taste some of your sweets!" She insisted.
"O-okay." Satou agreed. "Maybe we can invite some of class B."
"Kirishima what are you doing today?" Kaminari asked.
Kirishima hanged his head low.
"I'm going home." He answered.
"Hah?" But you need to hang with us!" Kaminari started.
"He's heading home." Bakugou said forcefully.
"Ah. I see!" Kaminari said nervously. "I take it that you're also going home."
"Yeah. With a certain somebody." He answered.
"And Midoriya-kun?" Asui asked.
"I-I'm also going home. W-with someone as well." Midoriya answered.
"Who?" Mineta asked. "Everyone's busy in Class A."
Midoriya hung his head low and gripped his fists.
"It's none of your business Mineta. Stop being nosy." Yaoyorozu answered him.
The bell rang and everyone ran back upstairs for the rest of the day.
When school finally ended, everyone went to their respective groups and walked out of the gate in different directions.
"You ready?" Bakugou asked.
"Yeah." Kirishima answered back.
Bakugou grabbed Kirishima's hand and walked with him out of the gate.
"Iida, are you ready?" Kouda asked.
"Yeah! I'm ready to go!" He answered.
"Is something going on between you two?" Sero asked.
"Hah?" Iida asked back.
"Uraraka. You keep looking at her. But she's already leaving." Sero said.
"Oh. Yeah. We fought the other day and it wasn't pretty. I feel really bad and I don't know what to do about it."
"Oh. That must be hard. Did you try flowers?" Sero suggested.
"NO! Silly! It's not like that!" Iida yelled. "I just... Need to apologize."
"You both make a good couple. Try to figure out both of your mistakes. Maybe then you two can reconcile." Kouda added.
"I'm telling you we're not like that!" He screamed.
Iida grabbed his bag and hopped of the curb of the fountain.
He looked back one more time to gaze at the setting sun.
Midoriya walked out of the side doors that led to the fountain.
Iida noticed him but didn't say anything.
"You ready?" Someone called.
"Mhm! Ready whenever you are!" Midoriya giggled.
His cheeks were flushed with pink and a wide smile spread across his face.
The person standing right in front of the fountain stepped over to the left and held Midoriya's hand.
"Let's go, shall we?" They said.
Midoriya nodded as they walked right out of the gate from the back of the school.
Iida gasped horrifically.
THAT'S THE MYSTERY PERSON?! IT'S... THEM?! Iida thought.
"Iida, hurry! We'll leave you behind!" Kouda and Sero walked back into the gate.
"We thought you were right behind us." Sero said.
"Did you not hear us? We said let's go." Kouda added.

A/N: Sorry guys. My phone had been acting up a bit lately! So I absolutely had to get a new one! Now I'm back in action and ready to finish this book!
