"Hey, wake up. Wake up dummy!" Bakugou whispered in a low but husky voice.

"Hm?" Midoriya asked in a soft-spoken tone. "What's wrong?"

"I gotta go! " Bakugou said urgently. "I need to leave. But I'll see you next Monday."

"Oh no!" Midoriya grumbled in a bothered tone.

"Are you listening to me?" Bakugou asked.

"Uh huuuuh...." Midoriya said unconvincingly.

"I'm leaving first." Bakugou whispered softly.

Bakugou slowly but surely made his way off the bed in a very quiet manner.

Midoriya laid in silence; not noticing Bakugou's movements.

He looked under the bed for his shoes and grabbed them dragging them out under.

As soon as he put them on he grabbed his jacket that hanged from Midoriya's desk chair.

He reached for the door opening it halfway as he stepped out.

He turned back one last time and stared at Midoriya. "Goodbye, love." He whispered sorrowfully.

He closed the door behind him as a lightly snoring Midoriya fell victim to sleep.

Bakugou walked down the stairs descending as slowly as he could not wanting to forget the smell of home baked cookies inside Midoriya's home.

"Oh my! You're leaving already?" Midoriya's mother asked genuinely surprised.

"Yeah, Mrs. Midoriya. I gotta go. I really want to stay! But the old hag wants me home. I wish I didn't have to."

"Bakugou!" Midoriya's mother exclaimed.

"Sorry! Sorry.... Old habits die hard." He said nervously.

"Go on home then. You're welcome here anytime. I hope you make it home safe and don't talk to strangers, honey!" She said, seeing him off.

"Oh, don't worry, I won't!" He said reassuringly. Bakugou walked off distancing himself with each step from Midoriya's house.

He sighed sorrowfully. "I wonder what Kirishima's doing."

[Three Hours Later]

"Hey, dipshit. Where have you been all this time?" Bakugou's mother asked casually.

"None of your damn business, hag." He responded.

"Oh? Did someone put a stick up your butt and it's stuck?" His mother asked, feigning ignorance.

"I don't even know how to begin. That comment is the most rudic-" He began.

"I heard you were at Izuku's." She stated.
"What?" He growled.

"Yeah. That's fine and all but tell me next time." She said.

"Why should I tell you?" He asked.

"Your father was up late last night looking for you. He wouldn't stop until he found you. I had to force him to go home." She said.

"What?!" He gasped.

"How many times are you gonna say what?" She asked sarcastically.

"Tell that shithead that he doesn't need to look for me. I've got business all the time so tell to mind his own." He replied.

"Yeah, I told him you were a good for nothing piece of shit. That you shouldn't be looked after but he refused saying you were special to him. And that you're his son." She put up her hands making imaginary quotation marks.

Bakugou huffed and turned away.
"Where is he? That geezer." He asked.

"He's upstairs exhausted from emotional stress and internal trauma." She answered. "He's sleeping."

Bakugou casually made his way up stairs slowly ascending towards the second floor. "I'm going to my room." He said.

"Okay." She said back.

As soon as she turned around Bakugou ran up in a rush and made his way towards his parents bedroom.
He yanked open the door and saw his father lying in bed in a deep sleep.
"Dad..." He whispered.
His expression turned to sorrow.

"I'm sorry, Dad. I didn't mean to make you worry. I'm home now. So when you see me again just act like you've seen me all day, okay?" He said softly.

"Breakfast's almost done. I'll see you downstairs. I love you..." Bakugou hugged his father tightly embracing him as he kissed his head.

Quietly he got off the bed and sprinted towards the door.
"Good night, Dad." He whispered loudly.

Closing the door behind him he heard a faint whimper behind his parents door. A mumbled sob.
