"How could you do this?! You know how much we've trusted you! And you decide to make another fuss like this! I guess you haven't learned your lesson!" Endeavor shouted. "Not that I've trusted you two in the first place."
"Calm down, Endeavor! We just begun this meeting and you're already all over the place!" Nedzu exclaimed. [A/N: Principal]
"I agree." Aizawa sensei added. "Endeavor speaks the truth."
All Might was silent.
He didn't dare move an inch.
"I'd like to say something about the matter, if you would?" Spoke another teacher. He had his hand raised politely.
"Yes, Clementos? You may speak what is on your mind! After all, you're the only sane one here at this meeting." Nedzu replied.
"I'd like to request a little time out for these young men. I suggest an alternative school that let's the them bond as they are forced to reconcile." He spoke.
Midnight became alarmed. "Whoa whoa whoa! Did you see what just happened out there? This kid's a psycho... If you ask me, that'll only make things worse." She shouted.
"I don't know. I think if they aren't getting along willfully, they should be forced to see the good sides and characteristics of each other. In some cases, it's worked immensely." Ectoplasm pitched in.
"As long as we are on the subject of punishing them, why don't we just expel the brats? It's not like they deserve to be here. How many chances have we given them already?" Endeavor interrupted. "Let their talent be wasted, for all we care."
All Might looked upset.
"Everybody, be quiet. Clementos hasn't finished telling us his idea." Nedzu scolded them.
"Ah, yes. They will still be able to learn and be expected to do their assignments while doing their quirk training practices on video tape. We will watch how they perform and see if it takes any results. If this plan does fail.... Then we'd seriously have to think on expelling one of them and seeing who is truly at fault." Clementos said thoughtfully.
Everyone had their heads down considering the idea. They knew that the hypothetical situation placed in front of them was worth trying. Losing future heroes to protect this city was too big a loss and dealing with the random tantrums of these children was way out of their profession.
"All Might..." Nedzu called sharply.
"Yes, Mr. Principal." He answered.
"How do you feel about this? Truly... What is on your mind?" He asked, suspenseful.
Midoriya was shaking tremendously. You could hear his body making all sorts of inappropriate and awkward sounds. He and Bakugou were standing right in front of the school board members and principal. A few teachers were missing but the remaining ones were a fearful as ever. Bakugou looked at them carelessly with his hands in his pockets and dead silent. While Midoriya's teeth were chattering, he subconsciously lifted his hands and began biting on his nails.
"I agree with Endeavor.... But I also agree with Clementos. I'm still deciding." His words room flight towards Midoriya and Bakugou. You could hear the anger, disappointment and fear in his sentence.
"Okay." Answered Nedzu. "Then it all comes down to a vote. All those in favor of sending them home?" Endeavor raised his hand. After a moment, Midnight also raised her hand. Aizawa stared blankly at the two boys. "Okay. That's two who agree to send them home. All those in favor of sending them to alternative?" He continued. Clementos immediately raised his hand. As did Nedzu himself. After a few moments everyone else stayed still.
"So it's a tie, eh?" Aizawa stated.
"It can't happen like this. Everybody needs to vote. If not, then at least one more person has to so it won't end up as a tie. There needs to be a final decision." Nedzu answered.
"Then I agree." Shouted Ectoplasm. "That's three on two. And that's final. That is that."
Everyone looked at Aizawa and All Might.
"Okay, then." accepted Nedzu. "It's settled. You boys will be spending Christmas and New Year's together in alternative for a whole month. Next week will be your departure date. You boys are very, very lucky. Today's Friday, so I'll let you boys off with no lecture because your training in hell will soon begin. Have a great night and weekend but be prepared for next Monday. That is all. Everyone! Is. Dismissed!"
Everybody jumped out of their chairs and hurriedly made their way to the double doors. Some were fast paced and others were slow and sluggish. "Oh!" Exclaimed Nedzu. "And one more thing! Since class is over and all the other children are gone, I'll take you both to go get your things. I'm sure everybody has locked their own doors by now and you weren't carrying your materials for school when you entered the meeting. So I assume you left your belongings behind, gentlemen?"
Bakugou looked at his disgustingly.
Midoriya nodded his head fiercely. Anxiety creeping in. "Yes, sir!" He loudly yelled.
They made their way in to the next hallway and found themselves right next Midnight's room. "Wooooow." Midoriya spoke in awe. As if he had just seen magic. "Midnight's class really does look beautiful. So warm and such a Christmas feeling. It's almost as if Santa ready was real!" He exclaimed in joy. He was so happy that he smiled brightly and blushed a light red. "A-ha!" He chuckled to himself.
Bakugou noticed his smile. He became aggressive. "What's with you and your half ass of a life? You really do got nothing going for ya, don'cha? Even if Santa was real you wouldn't even be on the list. Idiot."
"Now, now boys! Let's not make us regret our decision!" Nedzu called from the front.
They turned another corner and found Aizawa sensei's room. "Ah, here it is!"
He stuck a key inside the door and clicked it open, unlocking it and creeping inside the room. "Well, gentlemen. I have to leave. I haven't gotten my things from the office yet and the school officially closes in thirty minutes. All students and staff aren't allowed to be in the building by then. Unless there are extended meetings, tutoring and detention, of course but that's another thing. I'll just lock the outside and put a door stopper at the bottom. Close it when you two are done and show yourselves out. I'll see you two on Monday early in the morning. I'll be giving you the instructions. Good afternoon boys!" Principal Nedzu did just that and put the door in place after locking it from the outside. Then he disappeared. Sprinting towards his office downstairs.
It was awkward in the empty classroom as everything became quiet. Midoriya quickly grabbed his bag and jacket and suddenly dashed out of the classroom. Dropping a journal onto the floor while he ran. "See you next week Kacchan! Hope we'll be able to get along!" He yelled sounding scared and excited at the same time. He fled all the way towards the end of the hallway and followed a different route from Nedzu. Disappearing from the stairs.
Bakugou watched from the entrance of the doorway as Midoriya vanished.
Inside the classroom he jogged back towards one of the seats in the middle row.
"There it is..." He whispered. His foot hit something hard. He removed his foot as he knelt down and picked up the hard covered object.
"A journal?" He stood up and shoved the journal into his backpack while grabbing his sweater and twisting it in a circle as he pushed it inside. He zipped it up and put it on his back.
"Baka, Deku." He whispered softly.
He walked down the stairs and headed out of the school's back entrance.
