Broken hearts

Chapter 10

       I just had a panic attack. Wow! And why? I have never had a panic attack in my life so like I'm confused.

       
         I woke up later that day to find the nurse, Rayshawn and Jayson surrounding my bed. "What happened? I thought i was fine?"

   "You are fine hunny, you had a panic attack the moment you set your eyes on Jayson and it became worse when he touched you. It's gonna be like that for a while because you haven't fully recovered emotionally from what he did to you."

         "But he's here now and I don't have any attacks?"

   The moment he touches you or you feel his breath the attacks are gonna come. And trust me hun, this is not permanent, you are going to recover from it. Its just gonna take a while for you to heal.

       To be honest, seeing Jayson was the last thing on my mind to do. So I kinda didn't care about the attacks. He is a freaking BEAST.

       "Hmm hmm, Rayshawn cleared his throat as he sat on my bed. Shontaeya i invited Jayson over to sought things out with you guys. Jayson whatever problem you have with her you have to tell her now."

     I was so not interested in having this conversation. I took my phone and turned it on only to see 30 missed calls. Most were from Sally, Sierra and Sierra's mom. I scrolled hoping to see that i got a missed call from my mom or dad. Nope, neither of them called. It hurt me a lot.
Shontaeya! Shontaeya!?

I came back to my senses looking and Rayshawn and just then my eyes caught Jaysons'. Looking at him sent a shiver through my body, i could only look at him for 2 seconds. So what conversation were you talking about. I said referring to Rayshawn.

He gestures towards Jayson. You guys have to sort things out man. He walked out and closed the room door, i really didn't feel comfortable with that tho.  I managed to look at Jayson again but he was just there, nothing making any move. I definitely wasn't expecting him to apologize.

      We had been in here alone for 2 minutes now, totally quiet. The silence was killing me man! I took out my phone and texted Sally and Sierra telling them that i was fine and I won't make it to the homecoming dance which was this night. It kinda pained me that I wasn't going to make it to my first homecoming dance all because of this "BEAST."

       
"By now i guess you feel I'm a total monster".
     Totally confirming my thoughts but hold on! Was he actually expecting me to talk to him. Oh hell naw!
"Can you just say whatever you want to say and fuck out?"

     He smiled and ran his hand through he's twisted hair. His smile annoyed me the most.
"You see that confirms what i just said."
Huh?
"You normally just ignore me or smile at me but now you just say the words in your mind."

     I stood up carrying my bag and calling a cab. I walked out of the room and was running through the stairs so fast and then Rayshawn was there waiting for me and Jayson was behind me.

      Did you guys sort things out? He asked me trying to find out why u was rushing.
There's nothing to sort out, I don't even know him.

      I felt an someone drag me by my arm and his claws were digging in my flesh. I was screaming, I wasn't screaming cos of his claws digging in my flesh but I couldn't breath. It was Jayson.

      Stop it man! Don't ever hold her or touch her in your life cos i swear if you do!!!
     Suddenly Jayson let go of me and i felt Rayshawn wrap me in his arms and try to calm me down. I felt so safe with him. It was like when my daddy use to hug me when i had nightmares.

       I'm fine Rayshawn, thank you! I said trying to withdraw from his hug.
Instead he tightened his grip on me.
I caught Jayson from the corner of my eye staring at us surprisingly.

       Rayshawn finally let go and turned to Jayson. Now you are going to tell me what issues you have with her right now!
     It's none of yo business Ray, I'm tired of you always acting as her savior every single time.

Shontaeya, whats up with both of you.
    I looked at Rayshawn, his eyes were so warm and comforting. Should i tell him that his almighty friend was a pizza delivery boy or should i wave it off. I looked at Jayson and his eyes were threatening me not to speak. I ignored it and gave him a look of "you can't threaten me this time boy"
   I was going to say it. I have had enough of Jayson. If my dad should know of what i went through recently he is going to be behind bars with his pizza self.

     SHONTAEYA! Rayshawn blurted out. Are you gonna tell me or not?

   Breathe in Taeya, you can do this.
"I kinda snitched on Jayson to the principal when i saw him physically abuse one of the students in our school, I wasn't thinking and when i saw him do it i just had to report him so since then i guess i was his knew target"

      Rayshawn looked at me not quite sure that i was telling the truth. He was disappointed in me. I looked at Jayson and he was surprised. I really didn't care anymore. I just wanted my peace.
I walked out of the house and started walking, had no idea where i was going. I just wanted to clear my head.
