Chapter 14

Gosh! It was a new year. I'm just going to put the past events behind me. And about the hug i'm not even going to tell si-si and Sally what happened. I'll just assume it never happened. I have 6 months to finish freshman year. The first half of freshman year wasn't all that great so i'm just going to make this part great. School was going on normal if not for Rayshawn who continually stared at me and Ayanna who always tried to pick up an argument with me. We were preparing for the winter dance show which was in 5 days. I invited my parents. This is the first dance show i'm going to be performing in high school. They have to watch me. I bought tickets for them and they gave me their word to be there. I don't know if i should trust them or not. Gosh i was kind of nervous. I'm gonna be dancing in front of almost 2,000 people. Sally was in my dance class so i didn't feel alone.

School was over but i have to stay after to practice, our dance was quite professional. As i was by my locker trying to get out my stuffs, i wasn't even paying attention to my surrounding. I was so hungry and tired. Sierra had gone home and Sally's locker was right opposite mine. Just as i closed my locker i saw Rayshawn standing beside me which kind of made me jump a little cos he freaking scared me.

"You don't creep up on people like that"
He looked at me and started laughing. "Don't tell me you was scared! Bwahahahahahahah, omg! You look like you about to pee on your pants. Bwahahahhahahahha! I should do that more often"
The whole time he was talking i had a straight face and when he noticed i wasn't laughing he stopped immediately. "So uhm.. Whats up with you"
"Since when did you start asking about my well being?"
" wow, girl you're kinda harsh tho, i never knew you were this harsh. I mean don't you remember i saved you from all that trouble"
Oh gosh, so he still didn't forget that.
"Listen Ray,....before i could finish talking he interrupted me rudely.

"Its Rayshawn baby, but if you think Ray is sexy i don't mind you calling me that". And he winked seductively at me. I smiled or more like blushed. I didn't even realize i was blushing. The way he winked at me was so funny.
"You are blushing, so i guess Ray is sexy, so you can call me ray. But mind you, you are the only girl that calls me ray besides Tasha."

I was gonna ask him who Tasha was but i passed. "Ok so Rayshawn, listen i don't know why you suddenly care about me but i don't need it. I know you saved me but i already thanked you for that. What else do you want me to do? Kiss you feet?"
At hearing that he brightened up, what! Did he really want me to kiss his feet. " wow baby, you're faster than i thought, i mean i was gonna get to the kiss part but you were faster"
Oh gosh i shouldn't have said that. "You pervert i said kiss your feet" i said smacking his arm. He made a baby face acting like i hurt him. I couldn't help myself. I was laughing so hard. He was the cutest thing ever. Just then somebody dragged me by my arm and i saw that it was Jayson. He was walking so fast and dragging me along. Rayshawn tried to yell at him but he didn't listen.

"Stop! You're hurting me!"
His claws were digging into my flesh. We got to a corner before the bathroom and he pushed me against the wall. My back was hurting. He looked like a roaring lion. What was it this time??

Owww! I wined in pain, as i rubbed my wrist. Look if you want to talk to me you could just walk up to me like every other human does.
He looked at my wrist and saw the marks from his claws, he took them and massaged them. That was the best massage i had ever gotten. I stared at him the whole time.

"I'm sorry i hurt you, i didn't mean to" he actually just said sorry, i've never heard him say sorry to anyone. Wow he was changing.

"Ok so what do you want?"
"Why were you talking and laughing with Rayshawn like that? He is a player don't you know that? You can't fall for him"
Ok so normally i would laugh at this, but there was just so many things wrong with what he said. Maybe if he was Rayshawn i would laugh.

Wait hold up! What!!! Did you actually jus.... Ok so first of all, who i smile and talk with is none of your business, you're not my dad or brother. I don't even know you. And second of all, who said i was falling for him? Is it my fault that he's so caring and mature unlike you? Like you have no right to even be talking to me right now.
I pushed him away and walked out, better still i ran away. I was really pissed. Just before i got outside i felt somebody drag me and hug me tightly. I really needed that. He smelled like Rayshawn. I looked up and yes it was him. He hugged me tight and whispered to me "i don't know what he told you but don't be upset, i hate to see you upset. Please don't be upset." I nodded and hugged him back. I didn't want to let go. Suddenly Jayson came for behind and tapped Ray's shoulder, immediately ray turned he gave him a punch in the face. Rayshawn was on the floor and his nose was bleeding out. He took himself up and attack Jayson. They were throwing punches and cussing at each other. I didn't even know what to do. I tried to separate them. Then i just jumped in between them.
"If you want to kill each other you will have to go through me". Shontaeya you are not supposed to be here. Get out! Rayshawn said. Jayson withdrew and agreed to end the fight.
As he walked away we heard him say "you don't just hug girls that don't belong to you". Wait was that why he fought. He was freaking jealous. Why was he jealous?
