Ezra's Life Continues

Chapter 2

So the mission was simple. Get in, grab the crates and get out but we all know that missions for them is never simple.
"Alright here's the plan" Kanan said "Ezra Ruby you two know Lothal like the back of your hand, so we're gonna need some escape routes" Ezra and Ruby nodded "Sabine I need you to put up a light show and distract them, Zeb will cover you. Hera and Chopper will stay here for our getaway" "Wait who will get the crates?" Ezra asked. "That's where you and Ruby come in with those routes. You, me and Ruby are gonna steal them and while Zeb and Sabine make it back to the ghost" "So Sabine and Zeb will get here before we do?" Ruby said and Kanan nodded. After the talk, everyone left to their rooms and waited.
"What do you think?" Ezra asked Ruby "Honestly for once, I hope this mission goes well" "Me too but hey it could be worse" "How love?" "We could have a mission in the Hoth system. I heard that its always cold there" "Don't jinxs it" Ruby said punching Ezra in the arm. Just as Ezra was going to jump Ruby, Hera's voice come on the com "We're here. Meet up in the cargo in 3 minutes" "Well, ladies first" Ezra said holding the slide door open and arms out. "Ah Ezzy" Ruby said walking over and putting her hand on her heart. "Ekis!" and Ezra ran off. "EZRA! You get back here!" Ruby yelled running after him.

Kanan and the crew walked their way into town. "Come on. On the rooftops, its better, faster and the troopers can't see you" Ezra said. They made their way to a building side and started climbing to the top and when they got there, they started running and jumping over the alleys + troopers below. "Alright here's the building. Specter 5... light them up" Kanan said into his comlink "Copy that Specter 1" Sabine said. Moments later Kanan, Ruby and Ezra could see a big ball of fire and smoke in a shape of a Phoenix. "Wow. Its beautiful everything" Ruby whispered. Kanan was about to say something until a group of stormtroopers came. "I just got an alert, the rebels are back. Come on men" one trooper said and they all ran towards the blast while others ran back towards the crates. "Lets go" Kanan said. They followed the troops in the shadows and that the last minute Kanan changed the plan. "Wait I have an idea, wait here" and Kanan ran off. "I hate it when he does this" Ezra said looking around for troopers "Llet em tuoba ti evol". Seconds later, thanks to their wolf senses Ruby grabbed one of her knives threw it at a trooper who came around the corner while Ezra grabbed his blaster (oh yea..Ezra has a blaster in this but no lightsaber. He's not one with the force, just Kanan) and aimed it at the trooper now stuck to the wall. "Whoa whoa whoa! Clam down Specter 7, its me" "Kanan?" Ruby said walking over to take her knife out "Yea. Who'd you think" Kanan said rubbing his shoulder. "A flipping stormtrooper!" Ezra yelled "Shhh! Come on. I found a way in" Kanan said walking away. Ruby and Ezra looked at each other in confusion and follow Kanan. "Wait, than what does the outfit has to do with?" Ezra questioned "You'll see. How are you two in tight spaces?"

"I hate you" Ezra said in his comlink "Shh. Crates don't talk" Kanan said. Kanan found an empty crate and through this would be a better way of getting in than sneaking in. Ruby groaned and moved her arm. "Ouch! You punched me in the face!" Ezra whispered harshly "Its not my fault!" Ruby whispered back "Will you two cut it out!" Kanan said "Hey you're not the one in a small crate" Ezra snapped back "I said I was sorry" Kanan said opening up the crate. Ruby and Ezra got out and stretched. "Ohhh that feels good" Ruby said moving her body around. "Alright" Kanan said grabbed his comlink "Specter 4, Spector 5 you copy" "We copy Spector 1" Zeb said "Me and Spector 5 made it back to the ghost but not before we talked with a couple of troopers, hehe if you know what I mean" Kanan signed and continue "Alright see you soon, Spector 1 out". Kanan led the kids around the building before find the right crates. "Pss over here" Ruby called out "I found them" "Good job Spector 7. Now lets get them hook up to these speeders and high tail it out of here" Kanan said grabbed a crate. They were half way done when a couple of troopers caught them. "Hey! What are....wait a minute. Its the rebels! Call the alarm" A trooper yelled (names Billy) "On it" another yelled (names Bob) "And call for backup" Billy yelled. The troopers started firing and messed. The three rebels dove behind some crates. "Man. Can you guys ever shoot straight for once!" Ruby yelled over the fire "Spector 7!" "What, Its true!" Ruby shot back "Specter 1!" Kanan looked towards Ezra, how was holding one of Sabine's bombs. Kanan gaved a quick nod and Ezra throw the bomb towards the troopers. "Run for it!" Bob yells and a explosion of color and smoke went into the air.
