Ezra's Life Continues

Chapter 6

Ezra stared at Kanan. "Gnad ti, kciuq eil tuoba ti" "I don't know what she was talking about. Shouldn't we be moving and looking for shelter" Ezra said hoping Kanan would drop it. Kanan didn't buy it but didn't forget it nether. "Yea, we should" and they continued their walk in the forest.

Ruby and Shadow walked for what felt like hours. "Are we close?" Rudy asked for the 5th time "Uhh Ruby" Shadow groaned "For the 5th time, no! They are moving quickly and we better pick up the pace if we want to find them" "Than why did we change form? We could've stayed in our wolf form and not our half form" "Because, the bounty hunters can't track us if we're in our half form. Our full wolf form would leave tracks" Shadow answered. Ruby signed and continue to follow her as she started to climb the rocks with her claws.
Moments later
"Hey Shadow" "Yes" "Do you think about Travis?". Shadow stopped climbing and stared into the distance. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked I was just.." Rudy said quickly but was stop by Shadows words "No it's fine. I sometimes think about him but what can I do. He's still my mate after all" "But do you want him back? After everything he has done" Ruby asked as they continue climbing "To be honest Ruby, yes. Yes I do. I believe there is good in him if he just saw the light" Shadow said helping Ruby over the cliff. "Man we climbed pretty high" Ruby said looking over "Yea we did. Come on we should find a place to rest. It'll be morning soon" and with that Shadow and Rudy found a cave and went to bed

Ezra and Kanan walked until they found a wall full of rocks. "Well Kanan, how good is your climbing?" "It's okay I believe. I can force jump but I don't know about you". Ezra just ran and jumped on the wall and started climbing with his claws. "Okay than mr.show off l" Kanan mumbled "I heard that" Ezra yelled causing Kanan to smile and force jump to the nearest rock. They continue to climb like this for a few minutes until Ezra slipped and started to fall. Ezra tried to use his claws to stop himself but for some reason his claws wouldn't latch on the the rocks. "Kanan!" Kanan looked down with wide eyes. "Kid!" he started jumping off the rocks to catch up with Ezra and jumped down the rock below him. Kanan than use the force to slow him down and lifted him. "Hold on kid. I got you" Kanan said lowering Ezra to the rock his was on. "Okay, I'm okay" Ezra mumbled to himself. Kanan came up to him, checked him over and said "Hey are you hurting anywhere?" "No I'm fine thanks to you" Kanan smiled and said "No problem". They looked at the rock they were on and saw a small opening. "Hey over here. We can stay here for the night" Ezra said walking in. It was cool and dark but it was dry and out of sight. Kanan made a fire with his lightsaber and both sat around it.
"So?" "So what?" Ezra asked "My question, you never answered it. About the master and apprentice" "Kanan please I don't know" Ezra lied. The truth was all shifter have to learn from someone to teach them the way of shifting. Young pups learn from old, experience wolves to shift and how to unlock the abilities that shifters have. In Ezra's and Ruby's case, they taught themselves but they have a long journey ahead of them to learn a shifter's full abilities. They only cracked the surface. Kanan knew Ezra was lying but didn't push it. "Find, lets try to get some sleep. We'll head out in the morning to look the others. Goodnight" "Night Kanan" but what Ezra didn't know that it wasn't going to be a good night.

Nightmare begins
Ezra was running with Ruby beside him. He held her hand like it was the end of world and than he felt nothing. Ezra turned to see David holding Ruby in front of him. "Lets her go. NOW!" Ezra growled with his half form out. David just smirked and said "You want her, FINE!" and David stabbed Rudy in the back and threw her over the cliff. "NOOO!" Ezra said jumping off the cliff over to hit the floor of the ghost. "What the?" "Hey I found him!" Ezra turned to see Hera in the hallway. "Hera, oh man, am I.." "Murder" Hera said glaring "What?" "You killed him" "Hera I swear, I would never ..." Ezra looked at himself and saw blood. He turned and saw Kanan dead with bit marks and scratches. "I...Hera, I would never.." he was interrupted by Hera's yell "You KILLED KANAN!" and Hera took her gun out, aimed and shot
Nightmare ends

Ezra shot up with a gasp and sweating. He looked over to see Kanan sleeping. He signed with relief and slowly made his way Kanan and check to see if he was alive. Thankful he was. Ezra made his back to his spot and looked outside the cave, to see the 2 large beautiful moons and the stars. He could also see the speeders in the distance with a fire and 3 figures next to it. Ezra signed and close his eyes. "I'm not a murder. I would never help them and they won't hurt me" and with that Ezra fell asleep.
