Ezra's Life Continues

Chapter 27

"You're shifters" Hera said "Yea" Shadow replied taking a step in front of Ezra and Ruby. "Is it a problem?" Hera looked at Kanan and said "No, it's not. But we would like to know why you didn't tell us" "For your safety" Shadow said plainly "Safety?" Sabine said taking a step forward.

"Yours and ours" Ruby says taking a step forward. Everyone looks at each other and Kanan speaks "Why ours?" "It makes you a bigger target. They know how important a pack is to a wolf" Ezra explains. Hera stood there, letting everything processes and after a moment, said "Okay, we had a long day. I think it's time for bed. We can talk about this in the morning". Zeb and Sabine walked out with one last glance, leaving Kanan, Hera, Chopper, and the three wolves in the room. "Chopper you should go to" "Beep boop beep" (No. I'm staying and I'll shock them if they try something stupid). Shadow growled with her ears pinned against her head, which was low to the ground. Kanan and Hera slowly backed up a couple of steps. Ruby seeing this, quickly step in "Shadow stop. You're scaring them" Shadow looked up and saw their faces. She quickly stood up straight and backed up. "Chop leave" Kanan commanded. Chopper left but not before saying a couple of complaints and colorful words. "Chopper! Language!" Hera said harshly and watched the droid leave. Hera sighed and looked at the wolves. "This changes nothing" "Yea, sure" Ezra said sarcastically "What is that suppose to mean" Kanan said crossing his arms over his chest. "Don't play dumb Kanan, you know exactly what it means" Kanan stood there in shock. They been as a team for 5 months and Ezra just....snaps.

"Ezra.." Ruby said stepping in front. "What! You believe him!" Ezra said snapping his jaws "Don't you dare!" Ruby growled. The two started to growl and walk closer, both ready to attack each other. Shadow jumped the two, which knocked them down on to the floor. "S'taht hguone uoy owt!" Shadow barked and growled. Ezra and Ruby knowing Shadow was alpha and didn't want to mess with her, whined in defeat and Shadow got off of them. Hera and Kanan on the other hand, just stood there and watched. "Go to your room" "But Shadow.." "Now Ezra. We'll talk about this later" Ezra and Ruby got up and walked out. Shadow watched the two go and called out "If I see you two fight when I get there.." The two just growled in replied, making Shadow shake her head. "Uhh...what did you say?" Kanan asked in a confusing tone. "I told them to go to their room" "Oh.." "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to bite some sense into those pups" and with that Shadow walked out. They could hear her nails click at she walked into the hallway and into her room.

Hera and Kanan just stood there. Kanan sighed and said "What are we going to do?" "Honestly, I don't know love. We known them for 5, almost 6 months now" "What else are they hiding?" Kanan asked.

Hera turned to Kanan. "We continue with what we do best. There's nothing we can do" "And if they leave?" "Than they leave. We can't stop them but maybe we can change their mind". Kanan looked at Hera's beautiful bright green eyes. "Man. She's sure is something" Kanan thought and smiled in the inside. "Already captain Hera. I'll see you tomorrow and we'll figure it out in the morning. Night" "Night Kanan". Kanan left, leaving Hera alone to her thoughts.

Shadow opened her door to see Ezra and Ruby growling. Shadow turned human and cleared her throat, causing them to jump and turn human. "What did I say" "He/She started it" Both of them said. Shadow stepped in and closed the door. "We might leave" Shadow said trying to change the subject. "Why Shadow?" Ruby asked "They're thinking about it, if we leave or not. I heard Hera and Kanan talking about it" "Um Shadow, your eyes changed color" Ezra said pointing out to her eyes. "Oh. Thats normal" "Really?" "Yea. The older you get, the more you know" "Like what?" Ezra asked "Well, you can read other people's thoughts, change eye colors and unlock ancient power" "Power?" Ruby said "Yes but thats a story for another time. For now, be ready. We might leave tonight"

Lothal and its moons

The night was warm and the moons were full, a perfect time to sneak around and not getting caught. Shadow, Ruby and Ezra waited for everyone to fall asleep and walked towards the ramp. They pack everything they had, which wasn't much and lower the ramp. "The moons are full" Ruby said with a smile. The three stood on top of the ramp and felt a warm, strong feelings inside of them. "Its the moons, it will give us some power" Shadow said walking down the ramp with the kids behind her. They locked it and continued walking. "Power? From the moons?" Ezra said "Yes. The light from it, gets us strength, power and our abilities increases. But every couple hundreds years, they both turn bloody red" "I heard about that" Ruby said "That's when we get power amd strength like no every seen before. Our wolf forms are larger and our senses increases to like...a ton". Shadow nodded and turned wolf. "Come on. We should get moving" and ran off. Ruby and Ezra looked at each other and followed Shadows lead. Running into the unknown. Away from their friends.... away from their home.......away from their pack.

Okay I know I haven't updated for a while but I some reasons amd one of them is because of school. I have EOCs and AP exams coming up. I will try to update when I can. I'm sorry you have to wait, heck even sometime I get excited of what will happen next amd question myself. Thank you for understanding😉
