Chapter 15

That's what Shadow looks like in anime but she's wearing a different outfit

Ezra woke up to a darkness and so did Ruby. "What....happened?" Ruby said grabbing her head "Ruby?" "Ezra?". The lights came on, blinding the two. "Glad to see you're wake". They looked over and saw Kanan, Hera and Shadow. Hera smiled and walked over saying "How do you two feel? Anything hurts?" "My head hurts like crazy" Ruby said while getting off the bed "And my whole body hurts" Ezra added. "That because you took a shot to the head" Kanan said pushing Ruby back down. "And Zeb said that you were hit with a electric net" (don't know the name of it). Hera said pushing Ezra down as well. "The two should rest" Shadow said. Hera and Kanan check over the kids one more time because getting them the green light. "Are you two going to be alright for the mission, 'cause if not I can..." Ezra interrupted Hera with his hands in the air "Whoa whoa whoa slow down Hera. What mission?" "Fulcrum is giving us a mission. But if two aren't ready..." "We're fine Hera" Ruby said and looked at Ezra. "We're totally fine" Ruby said in her mind "You got that right!" Ezra replied "So, you two in?" They looked over at Shadow, who was smiling. "Count us in" Ezra said with determination. "Alright. You know, you two had Zeb, Sabine and even Chopper worried" Kanan said "Hear that love" Ruby said with her hand over her heart "Chopper does care". Moments later they burst out laughing. "Alright you got me. I really didn't think Chopper would care. He hates everyone, well not Hera" Ezra said. Hera nodded in agreement and said "You got that right. Anyways, you guys been out for a couple of hours, you must be hungry". At that moment their stomachs came to life. Kanan smirk and cross his arm while Shadow smirk as well. "Yea, I guess we are" Ruby said "Alright I'll be back with some food" Hera said and walked out with Kanan behind her.

Minutes after they left Shadow looked at Ruby and Ezra. "What?" Ezra asked "You two alright?" "Yes Shadow, we're fine" "No. I mean...your abilities" Shadow said whispering the last part "Stuff like that can....affect you" "How?" Ruby asked. "Things can....happen" "What kind of things?" "A shifter can be affected one way or another. The net could have too much electricity and....mess with the mind. The same with being shot or stunned in the head". Ruby and Ezra looked at each other. "That why I'm asking. To make sure you're okay" "I think we're fine. Besides I don't feel anything wrong" Ezra said "Yea. Me too" Ruby added. Before Shadow could say a word Hera came in saying their food we ready. Both Ezra and Ruby gaved Shadow a smile and ran out, leaving Shadow to shake her head and follow the two.

Kanan followed Hera into the kitchen. "Those kids are lucky they lived" "I know" Kanan said grabbing a fruit and stared cutting it up. "Kanan...something not right with Ruby and Ezra. Not to mention Shadow too" "What's wrong?" "That's the problem. I don't know but I have a feeling". Kanan looked at Hera with a raised eyebrow. "Think about. You can't feel them in the force and they can do things normal people can't" "So what exactly are you saying?" Kanan asked "I'm saying that they're different not human" Kanan nodded in agreement and finished cutting up the fruits. "Done. I'll go and them" "No. I got it" Hera said and left to get the kids. As she walked down the hallways, she could hear them talking "Things....
...happen" Shadow? Hera thought. "What....of things?" Ezra "A.......affected.....or another. The net could.....electricity and.... mind..... being shot or stunned in the head" Shadow again "...We're fine.... don't feel.... wrong" Ezra "Yea. Me too" okay now thats Ruby. Hera waited for a few seconds before walking in. "Foods ready guys" Hera said with smile. She could see them smile and run out. Hera turned to Shadow who stood there before following the two.

Shadow and Hera make it to the kitchen where Ezra and Ruby sat, eating with Kanan who had a cup. "I see they like to fruits" Hera said. Ezra and Ruby looked at Hera and popped another fruit into their mouths. "Where everyone else?" Ruby asked "They're in bed, asleep" Kanan answered. Moments later everyone cleaned up, said there goodnight and went to their room.

"So you think she heard" Ruby asked "I hope not" Ezra replied while getting into bed with Ruby following him. She wrapped her arms around him and he did the same. "Should we tell them. I mean they might find out sooner or later. Right?" "Ruby....I..(sign) don't know. I don't want to tell them but the same time I do. I'm just.." "Worried that they might do or say something" Ruby finished "Yea". The both of them laid in bed for a while before Ruby spoke "Love, no matter what, I will always love you and stay be your side" Ezra smiled and looked at Ruby, who was smiling back. He gaved her a kiss and said "I know. Goodnight" "Night love" and the two fell into a deep sleep.

Hera started to press buttons on her table in her room and a figure appeared. "Hera its late. Whats wrong" "Fulcrum. It's about the kids and Shadow". This got fulcrum full attention. "Go ahead" "I know somethings up with them. They aren't normal. The are hiding something and I know it. Ahsoka, I need some help" "Relax my friend. I will help you" Ahsoka, aka fulcrum, thought a moment before answering "You know the mission to the hoth system" "Yes" Hera said unsurely "I wanted tou to send Kanan,Ezra and Ruby in the phantom" "What about Shadow?" Hera asked "We can deal with her later. If we found out about the kids than she might show herself" "True. She act a bit protective around the kids when we're on supply runs and missions" "It's settled then. Ezra, Ruby, and Kanan have the mission and you will help me" Ahsoka said "Help with what?" "I need your help on getting these health supplies and food to refugees" "Consider it done. Good night and thanks" Hera said "Your welcome....my friend"

Oh and i know April fools was yesterday but I'm gonna say it anyways, HAPPY APRIL FOOLS!
