Ruby and Shadow ran across the forest after the fight with Bossk.
Flashback
"Shadow" Ruby whined "Are we close" "For the 100th time NO! Now stop asking. I swear you act like a child somethings" Shadow said "Well I am a pup and pups are like children". Shadow turned around to see Ruby with a smirk and hands on her hip. Shadow rolled her eyes and smiled. "Come on than....pup. We need to move" and Shadow ran. "Hey! Don't call me pup!" Ruby said running after her. Ruby ran until she tripped on a root and rolled down into a small lake where she meet Bossk. "Hello there" Bossk said.
Let just say Shadow came to the rescue and they all fought for a bit until Ruby throw Bossk into the lake.
The end
"We...lose him?" Ruby asked while catching her breath. "Yea..we need to...move" Shadow took deep breaths and started walking with Ruby beside her. They continue walking until they heard something in the nearby brushes. They grabbed the weapons and turned full human and waited. Ruby gasped, "Kanan?"
Kanan and Ezra were walking when Ezra heard the struggles what sounded like wolves were fighting. Kanan turned to see Ezra looking into the forest. "Kid? You okay?" Kanan asked. Ezra turned to Kanan and said "Hmm? Oh yea yea, I'm fine. Just...worried" "Well don't be. You and I know both Shadow and Ruby can take care of each other" "Kanan this is all my fault. If I would have just listen to.." Kanan cut Ezra "Ezra stop saying it was your fault and I mean it. If you don't the I will have Hera make you clean the engines, Chopper shock you every morning and Sabine dye your hair green and yellow.....permanently" Ezra put his hands up while backing uo a bit saying "Okay okay. You win, just don't touch the hair and keep Chopper away". Kanan smiled and said "Good. Now come on, I'll race you" and Kanan took off with Ezra behind him. Just jumped over and brush and turned around to see Ezra trip and fall. "Kanan?" He quickly turned around to see Shadow and Ruby.
"Ruby! Shadow!" Kanan said walking up to the two. "You two okay? We hear a blaster shot" "We're fine Kanan. Where's Ezra?" Ruby said looking around. "Oh we were..." Kanan was interrupted by Ezra jumping him and falling. "Ah! Thought you could win!". Ezra heard a throat being cleared and looked up to see Shadow and Ruby smirking. "Guys! Ruby!" Ezra said getting off of Kanan and hugging Ruby. As Ezra and Ruby hugged and talked, Shadow and Kanan walked to the side.
"Shadow.." "No need Kanan. I found a new place to live. I'm free to travel anywhere I want because of you guys, remember" "I remember" Kanan said "It's just, one of the three bounty hunters knew Ezra" "The Trandoshan?" Shadow asked "Yea, how'd you know?" "Me and the kids been talking. Giving them tips and all.....about living in the forest" Kanan chuckled and than went serious "Would you like to come with us? We need all the rebels we can get to help with the rebellion against the empire". Shadow turned and thought for a moment. "Should I? They helped me and they need all the help they can get". She looked at Kanan and said "We'll see", causing Kanan to smile.
"Ezra, I'm so so sorry. I should've.." "Stop right there my love. I should be the one apologizing, not you" Ezra whispered in her ear as they continue to hug. "I should've listen to you" Ezra said pulling away but still had his arms around her. "Love.....I'm just glad you're okay" Ruby said putting one hand on his cheek. Ezra looked over at Kanan and Shadow to see if they were looking, which they weren't and gaved Ruby a peck in the lips. "I love you" Ezra said "And I love you. Now come one, we need to figure out what's our next plan". The two walked over as Kanan and Shadow finished talking. "So what now?" Ezra asked "Well for now we walk, until we get a signal and contract Hera and the others" "All are than, lets go" Shadow said and they were off.
We haven't been with the crew for a while. Lets go and see how their doing. (Going through some weird portal now) and we're here!!
With the crew
Sabine and Zeb made it back to the ghost in ome piece. "Well that..was fun, in a...way" Sabine said catching her breath. They have just ran from their positions for the mission, all the way back to the ghost and had to fight some troopers that got in their way. "Karablast, I'm got my exercise for the day....Im going to bed after this" Zeb said. "You hardly even exercise Zeb" Sabine said "I know and I don't want to start now" "Specter 4, Spector 5 you copy" Kanan said over Zeb's comlink "We copy Spector 1" Zeb replied "Me and Spector 5 made it back to the ghost but not before we talked with a couple of troopers, hehe if you know what I mean" he said scratching the back of his neck smiling while Sabine shaked her head and smile. "Alright see you soon, Spector 1 out". "We should tell Hera" Sabine said "No need". They turned to see Hera and Chopper by the ladder. "I heard everything. I landed the ship in a safe place, why don't you two go and got washed up" Sabine nodded and Zeb said "Im going to bed" but Chopper had other plans. Chopper rolled up and shocked Zeb. Zeb roared and yelled "Chopper! Come back here you rust bucket" as Chopper rolled away, making noises that sounded like he was laughing and making fun of Zeb for how slow he was.
The girls laugh and watch the show. "So Kanan and the kids are following the plan?" Hera asked "Yep, unless Kanan changed it which he always does". Hera signed and shook her head. Hera knew that Kanan all ways changed the plans at the last minute but they all had reasons at the end. Whether it was to the amount to stormtroopers or if something was wrong and she hoped if he did changed it, it was because of the troopers. "Sabine why don't you eat and rest up for a bit until Kanan calls for a pick-up" "Alright" and with that Sabine was off.
It was a few hours later, almost a day and Hera still haven't heard from Kanan and the others. She managed to calm down Zeb and Chopper and send them to bed, which was a great disappointment to Sabine because she was eating popcorn and enjoying every minute of it. Hera chuckled, remembering Zeb falling multiple times because of Chopper and Sabine laughing so hard, holding her stomach saying 'Please, continue. This is gold!' or 'Please stop, my stomach hurts' and falling to the floor. Hera looked towards the horizon to see the sunset. Hera tried to contact them many different times but they all failed.
"Please be okay"
