Ezra's Life Continues

Chapter 18

"Argh, my head" Ruby said grabbing her head and slowly raising to her feet. She looked up and saw Ezra with a small cut on his face. "Ezra. Ezra wake up. Wake up!" Ruby said shaking him and lightly slapping him. "..op...sha...me" "what?" "Stop shaking me!" "Ops, sorry. You okay?" Ruby asked while helping him to his feet. Within a matter of seconds, the small cut was nothing but a small scar. "Kanan!" Ezra said walking to the driver seat. Kanan was knocked out with a couple of small cuts but they were easy to treat and a couple of bruises. "Argh, I'm never coming back here again" Kanan said slowly standing with Ezra's and Ruby's help. "You two okay?" "We're fine Kanan" Ezra said "But the phantom isn't. Hera's gonna kill us" "Yea, if the weather doesn't first" Ruby added. "Come on, we can't stay here" Kanan said walking over the driver seat and pulled out some coats "We need to find a town or something and ask for help" "But Kanan, it's freezing out there and it's almost night. The temperature will drop and we'll die" Ruby said putting on a brown coat. "True" Kanan thought for a moment "Alright we stay here for the night and head out in the morning but for now lets see if we can beam out a call to the ghost". The three tried and tried to fix whatever they could on the phantom but couldn't. "Uggh! We can't do anything in here! The phantom's complete frozen. The wires are dead, heaters are frozen and we can't call the ghost for help" Ezra said. Kanan sighed and said "Well than, I guess we'll have to wait until morning". He grabbed a couple of spared blankets Chopper placed and handed them out. "At least Chopper did something right, for once" Ruby said "Yea like last time. He forgot the helmets and I had to breathe in that sandy air on Abafar" Ezra said with a laugh "Oh I remember love. You came back with sand everywhere. Hahahah!". Kanan smiled at the two. "At least they're smiling and laughing and not thinking of death" he thought "We should get som sleep" Kanan said. Without thinking Ezra and Ruby moved closer to Kanan and snuggled on both side. Before came can say a word Ezra beat him to it "You're bigger" "And we'll be warmer" Ruby added. Kanan said nothing and wrapped his arms around the two and listened to the howls of the wind beating against the phantom.

1 hours later
"Ezra you up?" Ruby whispered, not trying to wake up Kanan. "Yes" "Do you hear that?". Ezra slightly looked towards the window and could hear howling. But not from the wind, for wolves. "Shadow said they might not like outsiders" "I know" Ezra said "But we can't reveal ourselves...not yet. Unless it's necessary" Ruby nodded and looked at the window as the howl continued.

Somewhere in the mountains
"Alpha! Alpha!" a pure white wolf said running into a cave, shifting into a young teen with white hair and violet eyes, wearing a blue coat. "What's wrong young one?!" a larger gray to white wolf with tattoos said running in for the deeper parts of the cave. "On the north side of our territory. A ship crashed" the girl said. "Hmm. Did you see anyone?" "Yes alpha. Three people, two small and one large, they were trying to fix the ship but failed. I'm not sure if they're friendly or not" "Send an alarm Snowdrop. I want all shifter back here at once, we aren't taking any chances" "As you wish alpha". Snowdrop shifted back into her wolf form and ran into the forest. She ran until she got to the top of a hill and let out a long howl. This triggered other pack members to howl in return and sending the message across their territory. The message was out and clear across the wind.

Okay, we're getting closer and closer to finding more shifter. Will Ezra and Ruby reveal themselves? Will Kanan find out there ultimate secret? Will this new pack kill the three of them?
