His lips brush the bridge of my nose.

And plant a kiss upon my forehead.

I forget to breathe the moment I realize what he's doing. I must have frozen because I don't feel my arms or my legs. My entire body is hung in space.

My head feels like it's been stuck into fish tank, with multi-colored fish swimming past me, the colors flashing before my eyes. Its quiet and heavy.

I'm swimming and drowning at the same time.

When an arm reaches out and catches me. It's warm and smells distinctly familiar.

The water disappears and the buzzing silence of my moonlit apartment comes back.
