Working in a doctor's office with a primarily paperwork/ desk work job isn't enjoyable in the least. You don't see people much.

The most frequently seen is probably Mr. Nishio. He is my cubicle buddy anyway.

Nurses come by with paper. The doctor comes around on rare occasions.

The patients, never.

So, everyday, during my trips to the break room, I crane my neck to peek into the waiting room. (I'm pretty short, so this takes some effort.)

An oblong rectangular prism filled with worry and anticipation.
