I shut the door with a sigh. Darkness encircles me. I switch the light on. Light pools overhead, throwing the tall cabinets into tall shadows.
Gosh. That stupid…
I take a glance at the paper. A blood pressure measurement chart.
I bet mine's through the roof.
Deftly, I extract the folder of the patient, file it under the " Information" tab, and shove it back into the shelf.
And leave the room, wordlessly turning off the light. The looming shadows plunge into sudden darkness.
