I just got inspiration and whipped this up in about ten minutes. It's obviously not as detailed as Cold, and for some reason it's not showing up full quality here. I did use the blurring and sharpening tools a lot on it. The part I like the most is the portion of the heart that's broken with jagged edges; I think I got that part down really well. For the inside walls of that part I used three or four different shades ranging from dark red to pure black. For the main body of the heart I just used a very big red brush to fill it mostly in and then blurred it all out. Then I used a pencil-thin white outline on it to define the edges. I used that outline on a lot of things in this piece because I believe it makes edges look sharper and more realistic since there would be light shining off of it subtly. I drew the black strand coiled around it last, since I was a bit hesitant about doing it. Afaik Pointlesscensor is the only one who knows what this is...
