Drawn 12/4/15
Today, I listened to Drop That Child and decided to combine Droptek's and Tut Tut Child's logos to make this fanart for it. All in all, it took almost 90 minutes to make. The "DROP" is taken straight from Droptek's logo, the "CHILD" is imported from Tut Tut Child's logo, and the "THAT" is a manipulation of Tut Tut Child's logo. "THAT" took a long time to make because I had to edit the letters and move the T on the right over to make it, and that resulted in having to carefully cut a bunch of edges and export/reimport the image so I could merge all the layers. The background of the image is a dark grey. After all the logo setup was done, I meant to just "drape some purple over it" to bring the dubstep theme in, but I ended up adding so many tiny and random geometrical tweaks it was insane, some of which you can't even see because they blend in. But they all add nice touches, and I'm glad I did so much. I feel like a real artist now. The base purple I used for the paintbrush designs is the precise hex code of Monstercat's dubstep visualizer, and I also used pure black and pure white for some layering over it. I love how detailed it came to be, because it started out pretty simple. I hope you love it as well!!!
