[Fanart] Loosid - Clouds (feat. Raycee Jones)

     This is my remake of the cover for Loosid's debut song on Monstercat and definitely one of my top tracks on 026 - Resistance, 'Clouds' (feat. Raycee Jones). The first picture is the true cover remake, and the second is the finished product once I added one of the prominent lines of the lyric in the center and the 3D puff paint making the Loosid logo at the bottom. I started out wanting to only do the alternate logo, at the top, which is something you see in all of Loosid's cover arts, the only difference being the color theme. For this alternate logo I outlined it with pencil and then used Prismacolor | Premier® Process Red, Indigo Blue, Black, Ultramarine, Light Cerulean Blue, Parma Violet, and Violet Blue colored pencils with touches of Rose Art® Orchid to color it in. I'd decided to watercolor a rectangular version of the entire cover after I finished the alternate logo, just as a relaxing activity to do while I was sick. It wasn't a very hard thing to do, compared to the tiny geometric logo at the top, which I ironically spent way more time on. I did the reflection of the logo in the water almost as an afterthought, but I'm glad I added it in, and I am relatively pleased with how well this turned out in comparison to the official single art (which you can easily find if you search Google Images for 'loosid clouds'). By the time I was done with the cover itself, I knew for sure I wanted to add the line "Do you wanna be set free?" from the song since it is a line very close to my heart in my history with its release. I started by doing a pencil outline of the letters to get the flowing/swirly shape right, then used my smallest brush to layer two coats of white acrylic paint inside them, finishing by using a blue paint pen and a blue ballpoint pen to line the edges (you can tell those two pens apart because I used the paint pen on the words at the top and it's greener than the rest). When I saw the purple 3D pen in my box of paints, I couldn't really resist doing the full Loosid logo at the bottom to finish it off. This was a fun one to work on, and definitely unique compared to my usual fanart for Monstercat singles. I don't think the final piece would be complete without all the effects I added to it, so I'm very happy with everything I decided to experiment with.
