This story is the product of a Pinterest conversation. I wish I could remember who I was talking to, but when I told them this idea, they urged me to write it up. So here it is.
There's a couple of people I have to thank when it comes to finishing this story. First off, SmartCookieX was with me from the very beginning, urging me to update and keep going. ChildofMany and CookieMuncher3001 were also super supportive.
But I think I want to dedicate this to my 8 year old cousin Gage. He comes from a hard family life, but never fails to lift my mood when he's around. And yes, I'd like to thank him for the use of his name :)
This was a fun story to write. I've never tried my hand at romance writing, so please be a merciful judge. Sorry if it was corny.
Just a few disclaimers from what I actually wrote:
1. I kind of like Ember's music... Dani and Gage really don't though.
2. I believe that Vlad isn't a bad guy deep down. But he's pretty nasty in here, so I don't think that came through.
