Ch3- Mother and Son

Third Person POV

Layla stared at the young man standing in front of her. She was confused. A human just saved her. He introduced himself as Shinya Hīragi. Layla blinks her eyes repeatedly, couldn't believe what she saw.

" Why are you here? " Shinya suddenly asked.

" I-I was walking around the city. " Layla replied.

" Walking around the city? Childish reason, vampire. " the young man laugh. Her tone filled with sarcasm.

Layla glared at Shinya. She bites her lips, annoyed. She stand up then stomp her feet.

" Whatever! I'm just telling the truth! " She yelled after that walk away but Shinya grab her wrist.

" Hey! Let me go or I'll kill you here! I wi-- " Layla yelled again but her words hanging as Shinya pulled her closer to him.

" I don't mind being kill by a beautiful vampire like you, " Shinya whispers to her.

Layla gave Shinya a sharp glared. Shinya only chuckled then released Layla's wrist from his grip.

" Human, let me ask you. Why you help me back then? " The 14th Progenitor ask while crossing her arms.

" I don't have an answer for that. I just want to save you, that's all. " Shinya smirk.

" Fine! " After picking her fall hair pin, Layla turn then walk away.

She suddenly stop, " anyway thanks. I'm Layla Tepes. "

Shinya smiles, wave his hand at Layla before she disappear around the buildings.

" Layla, huh? " he open her right hand, reveals a bracelet.

He got it when she pushed him from gripping her wrist.

" Let's meet again, shall we, " he murmured alone.

Krul's POV

The Progenitors Council hold another meeting this week. I'm getting confused. The issues are same. All about the war against a human organization, Japanese Imperial Demon Army.

" Queen Krul, I apologise for my bad words but a news has spread that your younger sister, 14th Progenitor Layla Tepes, fall in love with a human. Is that true? "

The words from 6th Progenitor, shock me. All of them asking the same, while Ferid looks at me with a smile. I remain silent.

" If that's true, the human may do something to her or maybe brainwash her to betray us. Queen Krul, this is a serious situation. We need someone to help her to forget the human, " said the 4th Progenitor. I just nods. If I say anything, they might distrust me.

" I volunteer myself to 'clean' Layla Tepes's head from the brainwash. I'll train her to be more loyal to us. " My eyes widened when I heard words from the 3th Progenitor just like me, Lest Kerr.

" That's help. So do everyone agree? " Ferid asked. I glared at him.

Shit! This man really piss me off. I think he plan all of this.

The Progenitor Council agree to send Layla under Lest's surveillance. I only can nod my head.

After the meeting, I hurry to my mansion to inform Layla. She must shock. What I've been worried for now is her child, Ryuzetsu. The Progenitor Council cannot know about his existence or they will give an order to kill him.
