Chapter 15

Riker's POV:

Cc's heart monitor went dead. Ross sat up and shouted out for the nurse. They carried her bed out of the room and Ross stared at me. " I killed her" he whispered and started crying. " no you didn't bro, she's going to be fine. I said it confidently, but in my head I wasn't so sure.

Just then, the nurse walked back in and said " Cc is ok, and has just woken up. She might be tired, but I have been given special permission for you to get out of bed and go and see her." I looked over to Ross who's face lit up. He shot up and I helped him out of bed. The nurse directed us to her room, and we walked in. Cc looked over at Ross and started to cry. I look"d at Ross who looked at obviously wanting to be alone with Cc. He ran over to her bedside as I walked out.

Cc's POV:

I woke up and saw Ross and Riker standing in the doorway. I saw Ross in a hospital gown and saw the bandage over his left shoulder. This was the last thing I wanted to happen. I felt so bad that he got hurt and started crying. He ran over to me and Riker walked out closing the door behind him. " Ross, im so sorry this happened! I bet you hate me now!" Ross stared into my eyes and said "I could never hate you babe. I love you more than words can describe." he finished his sentence and leaned in to kiss me. I leaned in too and we kissed passionately. I ran my fingers through his hair and he put his arms around my waist. I broke the kiss and leaned my forehead on his. " I'm so sorry I put you through all this Ross. I love you and I never want to be apparent from you again." I looked up into his eyes and he smiled and said " good because I never want to be apart from you either!" he leaned in and tried to kiss me but I pulled away. "what happened to you?" he looked at me and said " I stabbed myself by accident" I laughed an kissed him passionately. We broke the kiss and Ross got up and said " I'm tired. I'm gonna go to bed." I looked at him sadly trying to make him feel guilty. "Ross, don't leave, I'm scared." he looked at me and said " well budge over then!" I moved over to the side and he laid down nexto me. I rested my head on his chest and wrapped my arm around him. He put his arms around me as well. It felt so good to be so close to Ross again, and so comforting. I must have fallen asleep almost immediately, because I don't remember anything after that!

*one week later*

(Cc and Ross are back at home Cc was staying at a friends near Ross' house as the hospital wanted her to stay near)

Ross' POV:

" hey how's Cc?" Rydel asked me.

" yeah, she's good. Hey, I want to ask her if she wants to come on your with us. Is that ok with you?" Rydel's face lit up and she jumped up and down on the spot. " I'll go tell dad!" she ran off downstairs and I picked up my phone and text Cc.

Ross-

'hey babe, how are you? Anyway, can we go out?Xx '

Cc-

'I'm good, you? And yeah sure! What time?xx'

Ross-

'I was thinking in an hour out to dinner? I'll come and pick u up at 6 xx'

Cc-

' Yeah sure! See you then! Xxxxx

I put down my phone and shut my door to get ready. I pulled out my favourite jeans with ripped knees and a white t-shirt with a buttoned neck. I grabbed my leather jacket and got ready. I went and had a quick shower and then got dressed. I looked at my phone. 5:45 I quickly put my phone in my back pocket and ran downstairs. " bye mum bye dad!" I opened the door and grabbed the keys to the car and drove off.

Cc's POV:

I put my phone down and panicked as I only had an hour until Ross came. " Looouu... I need help! Ross is taking me out in an hour and-" before I could finish she ran over to my clothes and pulled out a deep blue flowy top and some white skinny jeans. I quickly got changed and Lou said " we need to do your hair!"

Lou was Jade's cousin and we were staying together to keep our minds off Jades death. It was her funeral in a week, and we were going to go together. Lou was 22 and had her own flat, and we were really close anyway so she let me stay with her until after the funeral.

I looked at Lou and sighed. I sat down on the floor and she put my hair up into a bun and tied it with a ribbon that matched my top. Then, she did my make-up. Eyeliner, mascara, foundation, and blusher was applied. "There!" Lou said as she finished. Just as I was getting up, there was a knock at the door. I picked up my phone and shoved it into my front pocket. Then I ran to the front door And there stood Ross. " hey. Wow! You look amazing!" he said as he looked me up and down. " thanks! You don't look too bad yourself!"I said with a smirk. " hey Ross!" Lou said. She came to the door and shooed us out he door. " see you whenever!" she shouted as Ross opened the door for me so I could get into his car.

When we got to the restaurant, we walked

Through the car park and as I got out the car, Ross gave me a cheesy smile and I took a photo of it and ran across the car park. " hey! Delete

It now!" he screamed playfully as he chased after me. He caught me up and picked me up and turned me around so I was facing him. He put his hands into my back pockets looking for my phone. " wrong side!" I said with a cheeky smile. " even better!" he said. I noticed he loosened his grip so I ran into the restaurant. I let him catch up with me and walked towards the toilets knowing Ross would follow. I walked in and text him:

'Can't get me in here! Check twitter! Xx'

I posted on twitter Ross' cheesy grin with the caption ' would rather be stuck with this face for the rest of my life than not have Ross be here at all xxxx'

I walked out of the bathroom and was attacked by Ross with hugs and kisses. " I love you so much too." we both held each others hands and we walked over to our table. We sat down and ordered. Ross looked at me and held my hand over the table. " Cc, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I don't want to be apart from you so I would like you to come on tour with R5" I looked into his eyes and smiled. " I was hoping you were going to ask that!" we both laughed and continued to talk until our meal arrived.

We were at the restaurant for about an hour and then we left. We walked through the car park hand in hand until I stopped and said " hey ross, what's that on your face?" I paused and playfully slapped him around the face. I ran off and heard him say " you're gonna get it!" Ross caught me up and picked me up and laid me down on the floor. " hey what's that on your lips?" I looked puzzled and said " I can't see it, you get it for me." I smiled as he leaned in to kiss me. We kissed for a whole until I broke it up and said " hey Ross, thanks for a great night , and well done for ruining my white jeans!" I smiled and so did Ross. He got up and helped me up too. We walked to the car and he drove off. I thought we were going to my house until he drove past and went towards his house.

We walked up in to Ross' room, and he shut the door. " Ross, my jeans are filthy!" he looked at me and gave me a smirk. Then you'll have to take them off wont you!" I smiled at him sarcastically and said " nice try, but I'll go and borrow some pj's from Rydel." I walked out of the room and went to get some pyjamas from Rydel. On the way back, I heard Ross on the phone. " no she doesn't know, I'm certain." he paused listening to the voice on the other end of the phone. "yeah, I'm taking her on tour to distract myself." he paused again. " yeah, I'll miss you too babe, I promise I'll make it up to you when I get back." he paused again before saying " I don't really love Cc you know that, I love you and I will not stop thinking about you I promise. I gotta go, bye." he ended the call and I just stood there with the door open so I could only see him. I walked down the hall to the bathroom and got changed and cried. When I got to Ross' room I dried my tears and luckily Ross was in the bathroom, so I got into his bed and faced the wall. How could he do this to me?

Ross slipped into the bed and wrapped his arms around me. " I love you with all my heart." he said. I mumbled to myself " don't lie to me." I think he heard and said " what's wrong babe?" I turned around so I was facing him and a tear escaped my eye. " who were you on the phone to earlier?" he looked at me and then looked away. " Ross, who were you talking to?" I asked starting to raise my voice. " I was talking to-" he paused and looked me in the eye. " it's not what it looks like." I let another tear fall and Ross tried to wipe it away. " don't touch me!" I yelled. " who were you talking to?!" I shouted. " Laura. I was talking to Laura."
