Chapter 18

Ross' POV:

Cc and Ratliff had been going out for a month now. It kind of bothered me, I still had strong feelings for her, but at least I knew she was safe with El. Cc and I were in a taxi on our way back from the cinema. We went to see 'the Lorax' on our own as no one else wanted to go. We were chatting about the film when the cab suddenly turned a tight corner, and Cc somehow ended up on my lap! Our hands touched but we both quickly pulled away. " sorry!" she said with a giggle. " it's ok" I said giggling too. The rest of the journey was awkward as we didn't speak.

When we got home,Cc ran upstairs to find Ratliff. I got my phone out and sat on the sofa. Just then, I got a group linked photo of Cc and Ratliff kissing. Every time I see them kiss, my heart breaks a little more. I decided to reminisce on the good times I had with Cc, so I started to scroll through the photos we took on our phones. Suddenly, a female voice said behind me " I miss that too" I turned round to see Rydel standing there. She hopped on to the couch next to me. We scrolled through the photos together. Suddenly, we came across one of me and Cc kissing. I felt my eyes tear up. Rydel put her hand on my shoulder. I got up and tossed my phone on the couch and walked down to the basement to play my guitar. Music always calms me down.

Rydel sat next to me and I told her my feelings. Together, we wrote a song. We had been practicing for about an hour, and I said " I'm gonna perform this to Cc." Rydel flung her arms around me and screamed " YYYAAAYYY!" She let go and I said

" Go and put this on the back porch ok?" she looked at me and smiled before scrabbling up he stairs to the back door. I walked upstairs and went to find Cc. " Cceeeee?!? Where are yoooooo?!" I shouted. Then I heard her soft voice shout " in Riker's roooooommmmm!" I ran up he stairs and walked in. " um can I talk to you?' she looked at me and nodded her head. She was sitting on Ratliff's lap, but quickly jumped off. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her down the stairs and out the back door. I sat on the decking and she sat beside me. " Cc, I've wanted to say this for a while." I picked up my guitar and started to strum.

Cc's POV:

I stared into his eyes and he started to play.

I felt tears build up in my eyes. "Cc I-" I cut him off by smashing my lips on his. He pushed away his guitar and put one hand on my waist and pulled me closer. With his other hand, he cupped my face. I ran my fingers through his hair with one hand, and put my other hand on his chest. After a while, I broke the kiss and stared into his eyes. I smiled and he smiled back. He got up an lifted me up with him. When he put me down I looked towards the door with a smile on my face. Then, in the doorway stood Ratliff.

Ratliff's POV:

I looked at my phone, and Cc ha been gone for ages! " I'm just gonna go and find Cc" I said to Riker. He nodded and pulled out his phone. I walked down the stairs and heard Ross playing his guitar. I went towards him and stood in the doorway. Cc and Ross had their backs to me and Ross was singing a song to her. " I want you bad." he finished. Cc pushed her lips onto Ross and they kissed for a fire

Minutes at least.

When they broke the kiss and saw me standing there, Cc tried to talk. I shook my head and walked off towards the front door, but my path was walked by Cc. " we need to talk" she said with slight tears in her eyes. " there's nothing to talk about. I was going

To finish things tonight anyway." she looked at me with heartbroken eyes. "Why?" she said trying not to cry.

" I met another girl." I said looking at the floor. " you said you would never cheat on her!" Ross said with anger in his voice. I looked back at Cc who's eyes shattered with tears. " what's her name?" she asked me crying her delicate heart out. " WHAT'S HER NAME!?!?" She screamed. " Kelly. Her names Kelly. I wasn't cheating on you, I just fell in love." I said feeling guilty. She looked at me and shouted " you evil-" before I even thought about stopping myself, I slapped her round the face. She fell to the floor, and Ross shouted for Riker. I stood there regretting what I'd just done. " what happened?!?" Riker said as he was running down the stairs. " Ratliff hit Cc that's what happened!" Ross said helping Cc up. ' Cc I'm sorry!" I walked towards her and she walked towards me. " I hate you" she said through her teeth and then turned round and cried into Ross' chest. " I think you should leave bro" Riker said to me whilst opening the front door. " see you tomorrow" he said as I walked out. I nodded and he shut the door. What did I just do?
