Chapter 21

Ross' POV:

I ran inside and went into my dads room. I was so mad at him. I grabbed his golfing trophy and smashed it on the floor. Then I ran into my room. I chucked everything off of my bedside table, and sat on my bed. I screamed in to my pillow and cried. My door opened and Riker walked in. " did you smash dads trophy?" I looked up at him and said " yeah. He deserved it. He smashed my heart." Riker sat down next to me and said " you're gonna hate me." I looked at him confused. " why?" I asked worried.

" I went to walk to Lou's house to check Cc was ok, and I was attacked from behind." he paused and took off his baseball cap revealing a massive gash. " I'm gonna beat the crap out of whoever did this to you!" he looked at me and shook his head. " it was James. He made me tell him where Cc was. I'm so sorry Ross." I stared at him and shouted " MOVE!" He got up and I punched through the wall. "where did you tell him she was?" Riker looked at the floor. " Lou's house. He had a knife Ross!" I ran out of my room and smashed in Rocky's. " dude! Get out!" he yelled at me clearly upset as well.

" James knows where Cc is." I yelled back to him. He shot up and ran towards me. " why didn't you say?" he said. I ran to Rydel and told her. Rocky ran to Ryland's room and Riker called Ratliff and he bought 3 of his friends. I also called Luke. He was my best friend besides Ratliff, and he always helped me when I needed it. Within about 5 minutes, everyone was outside my house. We all got in the van and Riker's car, and headed to Lou's house. I rang Cc checking she was ok.

Cc's POV:

I was home alone and was about to get changed for Ross' meet up with me. There was a nock at the door, and I looked out the spy hole. It was James. He was holding a crow bar and a knife. How did he find me? I grabbed my phone and ran out the back door. I went to the end of the garden and ran out of the gate. I looked to my left and saw James looking in the opposite direction. I ran back into the house locking all the doors. My phone rang and it was Ross. I answered

-phone call-

R. " Cc! Are you ok?"

C. " no James knows where I am."

R. " we're on our way. Hide and stay where you are ok?"

C. " ok hurry up! He's in the garden."

I ran upstairs and climes up to the attic hatch. Once I was up there, I hid in a massive box.

" Ross, I'm in the attic. Help!" I whispered. I hung up and stayed silent, and switched off my phone. I couldn't risk it.

I felt my heart pound as I heard the attic hatch being removed. Someone was walking round, but I couldn't tell who it was. All of a sudden, someone opened the box I was in.

" AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" I screamed at the top of my voice. It was James. He pulled me out by the collar.

" why didn't you answer the door?" he said in a innocent voice. I let tears roll down my face but didn't make a sound. He dragged me away from my hiding space and threw me down onto the landing underneath the attic. I tried to get up and run, but he pinned me up against the wall with his arm across my neck. He had his back towards the stairs, but I could see past him. I saw Ross creeping up the stairs with another boy next to him.

He was pretty cute too. He had mouse brown hair and a side fringe that fell almost as perfectly as Ross'.

The boy had a gun, and I also saw Ratliff, Rocky, Riker, and 3 other boys behind them. Ross put his finger up to his lips to signal to me to be quiet. I looked James in the eye and said " you know what? Just kill me. No one cares about me." he looked at me shocked. He then forced a kiss on my lips I squealed, and I think that was Ross, trigger. He punched James in the head, which was powerful enough for him to let go of me. Before James had any time to react, he was on the floor being kicked and punched by 4 complete strangers and my 4 boys. Rydel came over to me and hugged me. She pulled me down the stairs and we went into the living room. She say down, and just as I was about to, someone grabbed me from behind.

"AAAHHHHH!" I screamed.

" babe, it's ok, it's me!" Ross said. I calmed down and turned round and hugged him. I pulled apart and Ross leaned in to kiss me. Oh god. I pulled away from him and ran out of the front door where the police had just pulled up.

Ross came running out after me and held my wrist. " what's rong?" he said

" it was just horrid in there." I leaned in, and kissed him on the lips. Ross was NOT James. He would never hurt me would he? " Ross?" I asked

" yeah babe?" he asked holding on to my waist. " you would never hurt me would you." I looked him in the eye and saw his face drop. " no of course not!" I rested my head on his chest and he kissed the top of my head. " hey Ross, that retard has been arrested." I looked past Ross and saw the brown haired guy. " who's this then!?" he said asking Ross staring at me with one eyebrow raised. "Luke meet Cc. Cc, this is Luke. We were best friends." I looked at him and smiled. I ran up to him and hugged him. "thank you so much!" I said as I broke the hug

"where's my thank you kiss?" he said with an evil grin on his face. He clearly didn't know I was dating Ross. I looked up to Ross who said " Dude! She's my girlfriend!" Luke went bright red. " oh sorry!" he said embarrassed.

" it's ok. I need to talk to Riker. I'll let you two talk." and he left us alone.

" you're really pretty" he said blushing.

" you're not too bad yourself!" I said. It was kind of hard not to flirt with such a cutie. I hugged and thanked him again. When I broke the hug, he leaned in and kissed me on the lips.

" what the hell are you doing?" Ross said to Luke just as I pulled away. I looked at Ross who could obviously see what had happened. " I'm sorry, she's just so pretty!" he said. I felt myself blushing as Ross said back

" yeah I know but I kiss her not you!"

Luke said he was sorry, and Ross picked me up and we walked back inside. " still on for our secret meet up?" I whispered in his ear. He smiled and I looked at him and he winked.

" yup!" he said.
