Jasmines Point Of View
"Hey, Kaitlyn!"
Kaitlyn was becoming, someone close to me. Sometimes, I feel like, I need a friend that's a girl. As much as I love Gale, my best friend, sometimes I feel like Kaitlyn is someone who will help me through things that Gale wouldn't understand.

"Hey Jas. Are you going to the party?"
"What party?"
"The one Connor invited the that class to. Tonight."
"Connor?" That dickhead. Seriously?
"No, I'm not going."
"Come on, Jasmine it'll be fun"
"Don't you remember? About what happened to the party he hosted last time?"
"What?"
"Someone almost got raped, last time okay? I don't want anything to happen to you or me."

Kaitlyn raised her eyebrow.
"I was there. I go to all of Connor's parties"
I sighed.
"Whatever, the truth is, when there are parties and everything, you know. The social anxiety kicks in."
"Ugh, Jasmine. Come on. We will have so much fun! Okay we'll have the best time ever. Promise."

Maybe it is time I do something once in my life. The problem is, Connor. Anything can happen with that kid around.
"Fine. I'll go." Kaitlyn giggled.
"See you tonight."

It's maybe time I should let myself out there for the first time. I need to show who I really am.

Calebs POV
"Hey, dude."
"Oh, hey Connor. Are you excited? The party tonight?"
"Yeah of course! The whole class is coming."
My heart dropped.
"What?!"
"Is there a problem?"
"No. Just... excited" I pulled a fake smile.
Connor gave me a look. That look I can't trust.
"Caleb,"
He grabbed my arm, surprisingly gently, came closer to my ear, making sure nobody around is hears.
"Meet me at the building. Next break."

He pulled back and walked away.
The place behind a block is secret. It's a place Connor likes to spend his time with me and the other boys. Whatever it is, I know it's something important, otherwise troublesome.

* * *

I looked to make sure no one was around, and I saw Connor around the corner.
"There you are. Thought you'd never come."
I gave him a nod.
Something about his stance. Hands in his pockets, drawing circles in the dirt. It makes me anxious. Like, really anxious.
"Why did you want me here?" I started.
"I have a question,"

"Do you have a girlfriend for the party yet?"

Well, shit.

"No. Why?"

"I'm going to challenge you."

"A challenge? What kind of challenge?"

"Mm... More like a bet." There was a uncomfortable silence between us. Then came his next words.

"I wanna challenge you to a bet, on who can get a girl first."

I felt my stomach drop. I think my face went all pale.
Could this be? No. It couldn't. It can't. It can't.

"Jasmine."

It was over.

I'm done. My head was killing me, with all the thoughts. This can't be happening. I- I have to be dreaming or something. Does he know?

I swallowed. "Fine. I accept your little bet. But why Jasmine? Do you... Do you like her?"
I said trying not to show any jealousy. Or any emotion.
Connor snickered.
"No stupid. Because she's the only girl who hasn't had a boyfriend before."

Then it hit me... Maybe this is a good thing. But I never planned it on being so soon. Not at all.

"Starts tonight, Caleb." he winked.
