❤️Jasmine's Point Of View❤️

"Wear a dress. You'll get all the boys." I sensed a smile over the phone.

"I don't know. Don't really like dresses."

"No please! You'll look so good in one!"

The thing is, I only own one. If I have to be very honest with myself, I do look pretty cute in it.

I opened my closet and grabbed it out.
"I haven't worn it in ages." I mumbled. I placed the phone on my desk, putting Kaitlyn on speaker so I could try the dress on.
It makes me feel, comfortable, but also uncomfortable.
"How is it?" Kaitlyn asked.
"I don't know. I just think I'll stick to some jeans."
"No! Wear it! I wanna see you in a dress for the first time."
I laughed.
It was time to try something new. Actually, tonight I'm going to try to be myself. Different.
"See you there, Jas."
I put on a bit of make up on, mostly mascara. I grabbed my handbag.
This is my new life's I guess.

* * *
Wow. How rich is Connor? This house huge. From where I was standing, I'm pretty sure it was three storeys. It has a very modern style to it, I love it. It calms my nerves down, and I'm getting quite pumped up for this party. I walked towards the giant, wooden doors and knocked. I looked around beautiful place. His house was so high up on the mountains the whole view of the city could be seen. It's still sunset, so the lights can't be fully seen yet. I'm really excited to see it at night though. After a while, I heard somebody shout my name. The door swung open, making me flinch. At the door was Connor, and in the background there were people dancing, with music I feel my heart in sync with the beat. My anxiety level rose up again.

"Hey babe." Connor put his arm onto my shoulder. I felt my face go red a little. I don't like Connor, but everytime any guy says something to me, I feel... flattered. But I still hate it. Especially if it's Connor.

I pushed his arm off me.Ugh.

As I went in closer towards the crowd of others dancing, I found Kaitlyn. She walked towards me.
"Jasmine! Oh my gosh! You look amazing." she complimented. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"You do too." I smiled.
"Wanna go dance?" I asked.
"Of course!" We both giggled.

🌙Caleb's Point Of View🌙

"Caleb! Come in."
I was more nervous than ever. I over think too much. Sometimes it happens so much, I think of the most stupid things. Then I get myself into situations like this.

As I walked in, I felt my forearm being gripped on, tight.
Connor whispered in my ear. A loud whisper, from all the loud music.
"Remember. The bet." I nodded with my back still facing him.
Thanks for reminding me of something I wanted to forget.
But it's all I do think about.
It's all I can think about.

"Good luck." Connor gave me a pat on the shoulder.

I had to do something. Anything. I had to somehow win this bet. Get the prize. To get Jasmine.
But what if Connor wins? What if everything was for nothing?
I have to say something to Jasmine. At least.
I couldn't get my mind off it. Instead I tried to find someone to talk to. Somebody other than Connor. Sometimes he can be a real dick.
My mind was wrapped around something too much, I didn't realise Kaitlyn was talking to me.
"Are you okay, Caleb?"
"Hey, yeah. I'm fine. I just don't like parties that's all."
She laughed. "Just like Jasmine." I took my eyes off the floor and looked at her.
"Jasmine?" I whispered.
"What's up with you?" she smiled.
"I just told you, I don't--"
"No not that. You sound... nice."
"I sound nice?" I had no idea what she talking about.
"Usually, you sound a lot like Connor. But you've... changed?"
"I guess so." I let out a nervous laugh ran my hands through my hair.
"I have to go, I think I have to help Connor with something." I lied. As much as I want to talk to Kaitlyn, I needed time to think. Time alone.

As I left Kaitlyn, I found myself walking towards the bathroom. My head was throbbing, my heart was pounding, I had to be alone.
As I turned the corner I bumped into someone. Someone. Jasmine.
I bumped into Jasmine.
I froze.  All the frustration flew away. I felt my heart beat... in a normal pace.
I had this feeling,
Something I never felt before.
I was staring into her stunning green eyes. I'm so close to her body.
Oh god.
Oh my god.
I realised she was looking at me with confusion, and I heard my name fall out of her words.
"Are you okay?" she asked. My stomach churned. My mouth was wide open, words couldn't come out.
Say something! I heard my mind tell me.
I finally spoke.
"I'm fine. Um. Oh-- oh god. I'm... I'm am so sorry about that." I backed a little as I was probably a millimetre away from her. I looked down case I was blushing. She laughed.
"Well. I gotta go." she smiled at me, and she went off.
Me too...
I sighed.
Well at least I spoke to her.
