🌙Caleb's Point Of View🌙

"You have to start flirting, Caleb. Or I'm gonna win." Connor cautioned mockingly.

"After what happened at the party, I'm not so sure." I shook my head while fiddling with my hands.

"Then I'll just have to win." he whispered in my ear as he stood up and winked at me.

Maybe it was time I do make a move. There's no point anyway, just because of what happened at the party. Inside me, I just want to ask her. Ask her how she feels about me. I just don't know, how.
If I lose this bet, I know my heart will just crumble into pieces. Jasmine and Connor? I don't know.

I was frustrated. I forced myself to take a deep breath as I saw in the corner of my eye, Jasmine. I felt my stomach churn.
I caught a glance from her, That's when I found myself approaching her.

Maybe this is my chance?
If I could just go for it.
But of course, as I get closer, it's like I'm in some different world that is controlled by someone. And that someone is Jasmine. It's always been like that. I feel...Different. Something I can't exactly explain.

I took another deep breath as I approached her.
"Um. Hey," I started.
"C-could I sit here for a... For a bit?" I stuttered. The smile on her face made me feel comfortable.  Knowing that she might not have any feelings towards me from the party, makes me feel better.

"I'm sorry... about the party," I continued, with a swallow in between.
"When I bumped into you, and... and when---"
"Don't worry about it, Caleb." I saw her shake her head, as I turned my head to face her. Of course, I always get lost in her eyes. I just sometimes wish that I could look into them all the time. That I could just spend more time with her even.

If I could just... be with her.

"It's just Connor and his stupid games." she said as I cut off my miserable thoughts. If I really want to happen, it's time I start doing something. Let's start with the cliche,
Complimenting her.

Well here goes nothing.

"You're actually a pretty good kisser." I added a small laugh. She smiled as she looked at the ground. And,
Was that a blush?
"Well, that was my first time so--"
"That was your first?" I asked, shocked.
How could that be her first kiss?
She's a freakin' angel.
"Yeah... I'm guessing that wasn't your first."
"Actually..." Well its my turn to confess.
"That was your first too, huh?"
I nodded.
