Caleb was okay with the answer 'Maybe'. He needs to find a way to get 'Maybe' into 'Yes', without anyone stopping him this time. He told Conner to stay out of things, but who knows what he could do next time? That didn't matter now, he needed to focus on what can get her to say yes. The only friend he could really talk to was Kaitlyn. She's been helping a lot during the whole situation, and he needed to thank her.
He saw Kaitlyn sitting down on the bench after school, he went to go sit down next to her.
"You look really bored" He says. It's been 1 hour since school ended.
"Yeah." She says tiredly. There was an awkward silence.
"Thanks. Kaitlyn" She looked at him in confusion.
"What for?"
"Helping me... With the whole, Jasmine and, Conner situation" Kaitlyn smiled when he thanked her.
"It's okay"
"I need a little help though... Last time I promise" He asked, and made Kaitlyn laugh.
"Of course I will, but can you do something for me?" She asked. Caleb nodded. She whispered into his ear. Caleb answered.
"I can do that" He smiled.
"Now what did you want help with?"
"I- Well, do you know a way how I could get Jasmine back?" Kaitlyn had a second to think.
"Just ask her. Tell her how you feel about her. I know Jasmine. Trust me she'll say yes"
Kaitlyn was right. He just needs to have hope that Jasmine will say yes. She has before. She'll do it again.

After 2nd period, Jasmine went to her locker to put her things away. As she opened up her locker she saw a yellow piece of paper fall down onto the floor. She picked it up, curious on what the writing on it says.
Meet me at the tree and the bench, where we talked the other day, Lunch.
She smiled because she knew who it was from. Lunch was now. She walked behind the building, then outside the school. She made her way through the vines hanging down from the beautiful tree. She really loved the place. She saw Caleb sitting down on the bench, and smiled at Jasmine then she smiled back, she really missed him.
"I um... Got your note" She said awkwardly.
"If you didn't you wouldn't be here" He chuckled. He gestured his hands to the chair to invite her to sit down. Such a gentleman. The second she sat down he started talking.
"Remember that time... When I said I really liked you?" He asked. But Jasmine didn't answer, she just nodded. She wanted to hear what he's going to say.
"Well, I still do really like you. Remember our date? The dance? I think about you all day and night. And forget the bad things in the past. That doesn't matter anymore. And Conner, he doesn't matter anymore."

Caleb had to just say it. He put 100% effort into what he was saying. It was now or never.
"And... I just want to ask, if-"
"Yes" She interrupted. Caleb had no emotion for a second, then he felt like the happiest person ever.
"Seriously?" He asked, to make sure.
"Seriously" She smiled.
He got her back... Finally. He was so relieved, he just wanted to hug her, but before he wanted to, he already was.
