Jasmines's Point Of View
The thing was, Caleb didn't look, happy. Usually those boys would be excited to do anything with a girl.
There was eye contact for what seemed like years. It was like when he bumped into me earlier. He was acting weird. I don't like it. I really do hope he's alright, I don't know. We both looked at Connor. He could give us anything to do. Let's just hope it isn't something so intense.
🌙Caleb's Point Of View🌙
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. This could be the end. It all depends on what Connor has to say. I felt like running away. Crying even. I heard Connor laughing his head off. Seriously.
What's so funny?
Nothing was funny. Especially when he started talking."Woo! Jasmine and Caleb,"
"I dare you, to kiss your girlfriend here. Lips." he demanded.
I looked back at Jasmine. I used to always imagine kissing Jasmine. But this isn't how I planned it. Not at all.
Connor came closer to me, probably not wanting anyone to hear what he's about say to me.
"You look scared." Suddenly, I start feeling the fury inside of me, my blood pumping through my veins, my heart pumping faster than it did before from the anxiety. I looked at him from the corner of my eye."What are you talking about?"
There were two options. Run away or just do it. But now, there was no longer an option.
"Then go" he pushed me into the middle of the circle of the remaining people. I took a deep breath once again. Jasmine was pushed into the circle as well by the other boys.
This is it.
If this is what Connor wants, I'll give it to him. There's no way he'll be winning this bet.I noticed that she was wearing a dress, making her look even more beautiful. Her eye's sparkled. Her stunning but fearful eyes. I didn't know what to think. I'm not ready for this. Yet I have to do it. We walked closer together, and without knowing what I'm doing, I put her arms around her waist and placed hers onto my shoulders. I didn't know what was happening. Connor's booming and irritating voice isn't there anymore. Nor were the other classmates cheering on. It was just her. Only Jasmine staring into my eyes. I couldn't help but to smile a little bit, to ease myself a little bit. As soon as she beamed back, my heart went back to a normal pace. I was calm, especially after the words she had said.
"Connor just wants a show, it's all he wants. It doesn't mean anything, okay?" She was right, about Connor. But, it'll take me a while for it not to mean anything.
"Alright."
♥Jasmine's Point Of View♥
It didn't mean anything. It's just one kiss. It's nothing. Not that I've ever kissed anyone, though. The hurt expression on Caleb's face made me want to stop. I don't know why he's acting this way. He's so different. But he's a bad boy. He's probably just doing it for the show as well. Seeing him like this. It didn't make any sense.
I looked at him. The slightest smile appeared on my face, to make him feel better. I leaned in first, followed by him.I can't believe I'm doing this.
It was like, I took all his pain away. Everything seemed like it was in slow motion. We eventually broke off, I didn't keep count how long it went for, but he was sad. I know it. After we broke off, he didn't even make eye contact. He looked down and walked off, not even in Connor's direction. I heard Kaitlyn behind me.
"Are you okay? Is everything alright?" she asked. It was like, she knew that this affected something. It wasn't me. It was Caleb. I shook my head."It meant nothing."
