Chapter 14

Jasmine got told that the date is casual, and that it's going to be a surprise. So she had no idea what she was getting into, but she was glad it was casual. It was winter so she had to wear warm clothes. She decided to wear skinny jeans, with a long sleeved shirt, then a black jumper. She never has worn make up before, but maybe she should try something new. She was ready to go.

As she got to where Caleb told her to go, in front of a fountain, for some reason she was nervous. It was her first ever date, and she's ready for anything. She sat down on a chair. It was a beautiful night, with bright lights and it was really quiet. She was enjoying it. She saw Caleb near the trees wearing some long jeans and a white T-shirt. Something different from what he wears at school all the time. Jasmine smiled at him while he smiled back, then he started walking towards her.

"Hey" He said, really kindly.

"Hey" She replied back, almost whispering.

"So, where are we going?" She asked curiously, and excitedly.

"You'll see" He held out a hand for her and she, with no hesitation, grabbed it. He had really warm hands. She felt herself blush, something she's never done before. Caleb led her somewhere really different, somewhere other girls would never be on a date.

"Where are we going?" She laughed.

"I told you, you'll see" He laughed back.

They have been walking for a while, and Jasmine was really excited.

"Close your eyes" He told her.

"Um... Okay?" She giggled and he led her somewhere.

"Now... Open them" Once she opened her eyes, she was in the middle of the forest. When she looked she saw some chairs and a table with food on it, with lights making her want to cry. She knew he'd put effort into it, but she never knew he'd put so much just for one date.

"Caleb... You really didn't need to do this" She looked at him. He smiled at her, making her look down.

Caleb was proud of what he has done. He never thought he'd be doing this with Jasmine. He wasn't nervous, because he knows being nervous would make things worse.

"So, do you like it?" He asked.

"Are you kidding me? I never seen anything like it" She said looking around.

"So... Let's eat" He couldn't stop smiling.

While they were eating, they talked about themselves, about their parents, siblings, pets. They both seemed to have lots of things in common.

"So is this your first date?" He asked Jasmine.

"Yeah, it is." She said quite shyly.

"It's my first date as well" But after he had said that Jasmine looked at him in confusion.

"Wait, what? Didn't you go out with that Kayla girl?"

"No... It's a long story, but I'll tell you later"

"Okay"

After they both finished eating, Caleb asked Jasmine to dance.

"You brought music as well?" She asked in shock.

"Why wouldn't I?" They both made their way on the grass, Caleb put his hands around her waist while she wrapped her arms around his back, and started dancing slowly to 'Thinking Out Loud'. It was one of Jasmine's best feelings, being so close to Caleb. She's starting to 'like' Caleb more, a lot more. She rested the side of her face on his chest, which felt really comfortable, making her heart beat go faster. She likes him, and she maybe even likes him, a lot.

Dancing with Jasmine, was the best feeling ever. It was making him like her much more, so much, it's making him want to ask her a question.

"Jasmine?" He whispered.

"Yeah?" She replied. It was time to ask her.

"Do you want to-"

"Yes" She said before letting him finish the question. She took her face off his chest.

"Did you know what I was going to ask you?" They locked eyes.

"Yes," She said really quietly. But before knowing it, she was leaning in, and so was he. Jasmine closed her eyes, he did as well. And realizing that their lips were touching. He couldn't believe what he was doing, and doing it with Jasmine, even after 20 seconds of the kiss, he didn't want to stop. Dancing with Jasmine, was the best feeling, but kissing her makes him change his mind. After breaking off the kiss, all Caleb wanted to do, is do it again.

He just kissed Jasmine. Not only that.

He's dating Jasmine.
