After the date, Caleb was really shy and nervous around Jasmine. But he couldn't believe that they were dating now. Which means...

He won the bet.

He actually won the bet. He needed to tell Conner about it, but he didn't see him at all that day, so he was assuming he wasn't at school. Caleb wanted to make sure, that him and Jasmine were dating. He knew he was, but just to be sure. He saw Jasmine near the lockers. He doesn't know why, but he was nervous.

"Hey" He said with a smile. She turned around and smiled as well.

"Hey" She replied quietly, and started playing with her fingers. He could tell she was nervous as well.

"Can I ask you a question?" He asked, looking down at the ground.

"Sure"

"Are we dating?"

"I don't know, do you want to be dating?" She said really shyly, when saying the word dating.

"I wouldn't be asking if I didn't want to" He smiled again.

"Then yes" She smiled. His whole body filled with relief to know that they were dating. It's been 5 years and he is finally getting the one thing he wanted.

Few days later...

After Conner was back, Caleb wanted to tell him that he won the bet.

"Hey Conner" He greeted him.

"Hey what's up?"

"I need to tell you something"

"Alright"

"I won the bet" He said with a smile, wait for Conner's response. He hesitated, which made Caleb confused.

"Congrats," He finally said. But it still made Caleb pretty suspicious on why, he hesitated. The school bell rang, and they headed to class.

It was the end of the day, and Caleb saw Jasmine sitting down on the table, and she looked really, really sad. He approached her slowly, he was worried about her.

"Are you okay?" He asked straight away, it hurt him to see her upset. Jasmine didn't answer, which made Caleb worry more. He sat next to her, but none of them said anything. It had been at least a few minutes, before he spoke again.

"Can you tell me what's wrong? I really hate seeing you so sad" And then she sighed, but still was staring at the same spot. She finally spoke.

"A little bird told me it was all a game" She said in the saddest voice Caleb ever heard someone say it in, but he was really confused.

"W-What are you talking about?" He stuttered.

"Conner... He told me it was all a game. A bet" She said it in the sad voice again. He looked at her in the eyes, and tears started falling down. Caleb felt betrayed. Why would Conner say that to her? She continued.

"That means, you having a crush on me, for 5 years. Fake. The date. Fake. The dance, the kiss. Fake," Caleb felt sadness inside him. Betrayal. Frustration. More and more tears started streaming down her face.

"Why? You did it because you just wanted to break a girls heart. You never even liked me did you? How could I be so stupid? You're a bad boy" She had anger in her voice this time. Caleb couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Jasmine... Listen to me. Don't listen to Conner and whatever he said, you don't under-"

"No... We're over" Then she went off. He needed to go see Conner, he went to the place he always is after school. Behind the science room. He started running. All the anger inside of him all built up in him. When he went around the corner, he saw all the bad boys there, including Conner. He went right up to him.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?" He yelled at him. Yelled as loud as he could.

"Why would you tell Jasmine that?"

Conner laughed, which made Caleb clench his teeth. It wasn't a joke.

"Caleb. Man. That bet, was all fake. It wasn't real. And I can't believe you actually would date a nerd like her." His comment made Caleb close his eyes for a few seconds.

"Conner... I don't want to see your face, ever again. And don't you dare try anything else, or I'll swear to god, something bad will happen to you. By the way, I was never a bad boy." He stormed off. All his effort, Gone. His friends, Gone. The one thing he wanted... Gone. He has never been so angry in his whole life.
