Alex pov
Today was the day I was going to ask out Grace and I'm really nervous and excited. I called me and Grace's best friend, katie. She knows I like Grace and she has been helping me with everything today. I have it all planned out and everything. "Your going to do today right?" Katie asked me. "Yes Katie why else would I call u this early" I say pointing to the clock that 6am. I couldn't sleep because I was to nervous so I called katie over. "Ok ok I was just making sure" katie said putting her hand up in defeat.
Grace pov
I woke up to voices coming from downstairs. I got up and walked downstairs to see my best friend katie. I ran over to her and hugged her. I missed her so much it's been a year or two since I moved away. "Oh my god katie what are doing here at ... 6am?" I question her. " Alex couldn't sleep and I also wanted to see you because I seen you in forever. " katie said. We all just sat down on the couch and turned on the tv and started watching a random cartoon.
-skip to lunch-
We were all watching a random tv show. "Hey guys I got to go I see you later tho. Love you Gracie!" Katie said getting up to hug me and Alex. " bye katie" me and Alex said at the same time. We hair looked at each other and laughed.
Alex got up and said that he had to use the bathroom. I got a text from Alex saying to come meet him up in my room. I walked up the stairs and was about to go into my room when I saw something in the hallway. It was a sign that said "Can we make this weekend our first date?" I walked into my room and saw Alex holding up a rose for me. " omg Alex is all of this for me?" I asked him. " yea" was all Alex said. I'm going to cry. I nodded my head yes while covering my mouth with my hand. I can't believe Alex just asked me out. I have been waiting for this forever.
