Twenty-seven

It's been a week since I spent the day with Shawn. Mom says I should hang out or see every week since he is my father.

Alex and I are cuddled on the couch since it was a Saturday we didn't have school. We were watching an old horror movie I don't remember the name.

"Hey Rae do you want to have date night tonight? I know it's last minute but we have been so busy with dance and homework." Alex says using my nickname only he says.

"I would love to but just don't go yet the movie is almost over and then you can leave to get ready and stuff." I say to Alex.

After the movie ended Alex left to get ready. I told and right now she was helping me out with my outfit.

We finally agreed on an outfit. It was kinda but not to much.

It was a gray long sleeved shirt that I tucked in and rolled up the sleeves, a black skater skirt, black stockings and my boots with a scarf. We did my usual makeup and I curl my hair a little.

I checked the time and saw that Alex would be here any moment.

I here the doorbell ring. Kat gets all excited I don't know why though. Kat walks out of the room to open the door. I grab my phone and little backpack because I bring that with me. I put on my bracelets.

I walk out of the room and walk towards Alex and Kat at the door.

Alex was wearing a nirvana t-shirt, black skinny jeans and some converse with a beanie and the bracelet I got him a while ago.

I say to Kat and we walk to his truck that his parents got him as an going away present. We got in and started to all time low, nirvana and Melanie Martinez. Alex holds my hand while he drives.

We arrive at the drive in movie theater that we found awhile ago. I have always wanted to go here I guess I'm just sucker vintage and old   stuff.

Alex tells me to wait so I wait in the truck listening to music. He finally tells me I can come out now.

I walk to the back of truck and see he set up a little bed with our dinner  and blankets in case we get cold. I smile and turn around and kiss him.

Eventually the movie started and we cuddled the whole movie. After the movie need and Alex packed everything up we went headed over to the lake that we walked to one time in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. We watched the stars and moon and everything around us.

We sat down and Alex pulled me on his shoulder  and we just sat there not even talking just listening to everything around us. It wasn't an awkward silence though.

I remember  when I couldn't sleep I would just go outside and sit on the porch and listen to the bugs and nature around me. It's always very calming and sometimes I would fall asleep on the porch because it so peaceful and calming.

We eventually get up and drive home. We were to busy jamming to notice that a car was coming right at us. He hit Alex's side and we hit another car and flipped over.

I closed my eyes and wait for impact.

Melissa pov (grace's mom)
I was at the office for my real estate agency when I got a get a call.

"Hello this is re/maxhow may I help you." I say into the phone like I have too all the time.

"Hello this is Doctor McCall, is this Mrs Melissa Joyce Browns?" The doctor asks me. "Yes this is she." 

"Its says that you're the emergency contact for Grace Browns and Alex Turner." Doctor McCall says. "Has something happened?"

"I'm sorry to say this but Mrs. Browns your daughter and her... boyfriend has been in a car accident." The doctor says. My heart nearly stopped. The doctor tell what they are at. I call Katie and tell her what happened and I said I would pick her up. I also called Alex's family.

I go pick up Katie and take her to the hospital. Once we get there we check in and ask if we can see them but the doctor says that they are in surgery right now. We sat down in waiting room. I call Shawn and tell him what happened and said he would there in second.

When Shawn comes in I see that he brought the Matthew's, Lucas, Maya and farkle. They all asked what happened but we don't know. We explain all we know to them.
