Grace pov
I told the girls everything about me and Lucas. I walked back to my moms apartment since it was past 6 and mom wanted me home by 7:30. I got into the subway and waited for my stop. There were a bunch of people coming home from work and going to see there families. It broke my heart that my mom was one of those mom that had to work all day and sometimes even night and hardly even see her own daughter and she had two jobs one at the hospital and a real estate agent. She was trying to find anew job and she found this real estate agency. She told me when I was little that she always loved helping people so when she still didn't have enough money she started working at the hospital at night. It was finally my stop I walk out of the train and start walking home. The ground was wet so my shoes were getting wet. New York was a beautiful place when it rains. I felt something wet hit me on the head and on my arm. I looked up and saw that it was drizzling. I kept walking but the rain got heavier so I started to run fast. I made it to the apartment building just in time because started pouring rain. I ran inside and sat my bags in my room and fixed me some dinner since mom was already at work.

I sat my food down on the little island in the kitchen and started eating my food. The phone starts ringing as I finish my food I put my plate in the sink and answer the phone. "Hello this Mrs.jackson from The National Academy Of Dance and we would like to speak to Mrs.Grace Browns." The lady on the phone says. Holy crap. "Speaking." I say in a calm. But I'm screaming on the inside. "Hello we would love if you would come in for an audition to get a spot in our school." The lady says in a boring normal voice like she had been doing this all day. "Yes I love to come in! When would you guys like me to come in?" I say while grabbing a notepad and a pen. "You can come in on Wednesday if you are free." She says. "Yea that's perfect!" I say. "Ok we will see you Wednesday. Hope to see you there!" She says before hanging up. That has to be the best call I have ever had. Getting an audition or getting in The National Academy Of Dance has been my dream ever since I was little. I called up Katie and told her the news and she flipped out. After I ended the call with Katie I sat down in the living room and watched some tv. (Btw grace's apartment is up top in the media) after I went into my room and got dressed and went to bed.

I woke up and got out of bed since it was Sunday I got dressed into my running gear. I put on my black sports bra and my running pants. I put on my running shoes and grabbed my phone and walked outside and started running. Mom was already at work so I didn't have to worry about telling her where I was going. Since mom worked at the real estate agency I had grabbed a key before I left I found the place that the key goes to. It was abandoned house it looked okay to go inside and walk around just not to live. I walked inside and put on some music and started practicing for my audition. After I practiced I walked outside it was already night time. Dang it didn't feel like I was dancing that long. I ran back home and grabbed me some water. I checked my phone to see if I had any notifications. Mom texted me.

To grace
Hey sweetie I'm going to be running a little late. I will be home at 8 but I have to go in around 9 so dinner is in the fridge.

I looked in the fridge and there was some pizza. I put the pizza in the microwave and waited for the tuner to go off. It finally did I grabbed the pizza and my laptop off the coffee table in the living room and sat down at the island thing in the kitchen and eat my dinner.

After I finished my pizza I heard a knock on the door. I went to answer it and saw someone that didn't want to see right now standing there. "Shawn what are doing here?" I say. "I wanted to talk to your mother but I guess she isn't here." . Shawn was standing there looking awkward as hell. "Well she should be back by 8 but you only have an hour or 30 minutes to talk to so come on in. Let me go get dressed." I say opening the more. He come in and sit down I walk into my room and change into real clothes. I walked out of my room and see him sitting at the kitchen island thing. "Sorry I went for a run today and I came back and ate my dinner and then you came." I say siting down at my computer. I close my computer so I don't get distracted. "So what did you want to talk to my mom about?" I ask him. "Well I wanted to explain everything to you two because I know your mother taught you to hate me because I left you two before you born." He said. I got a notification on my laptop I opened it and looked at the notification. Katie sent me a video .

"Hey grace! We miss you already and btw Alex says congrats on your audition! We hope you get it! We know this has been you dream school since you were little!! Alex made do this because he wants to say hi!!!"

"Hi grace! I love and miss you so much!! Like Katie said I hope you make into the National Academy Of Dance! I love you have to go bye!! We love and miss you so much!!!"

I smile remembering each time someone would go on a trip or somewhere out of town we would make little video say that love and miss them. It was like our little thing. Shawn was sitting on here listening to the video. "We're those your friends from your old school?" He asks. "Yea well Alex is my boyfriend." Mom finally got home from work. "Hey sweetie I'm home!" Mom shouts. "In here in the kitchen!" I shout back. "I had such a hard day at work there was this couple that were just so rude they didn't like any of......" Mom says while walking into the kitchen and spotting Shawn at the end of the sentence cashing her to forget what she was saying. "What are you doing here Shawn?" Mom finally speaks up. "I came here to talk you two and since your home please let me explain everything to you two." He practically begged her. She agreed and he plain everything. It turns out that he didn't mom was pregnant and he got an offer from his dream job which required him to travel around the world and he didn't want to try the long distance relationship. So he broke up with her but she turned out pregnant but he never knew until Lucas told him I was his daughter.

Long chapter finally. This is kind of a fuller chapter to show you what I want to happen in the future. But Shawn is finally back. Should be a new father figure for grace? Btw the gang and everyone else is in high school expect the parents of course. But anyways bye guys!! Love you! Keep smiling, your beautiful!!!!
