The next day went by fast. Now its the day Alex gets to go home.
We were laying down in his bed cuddling like we have been doing since he woke up.
He made me tell him if I heard 'them' while he in a coma. Which I did not thank god.
The doctors comes in with a clipboard in his hands.
"Ok Alex you are free to go but you have to come back for Chemotherapy. I will talk to Mrs. Browns when you will come back, But for now you are free to go."
"Wait grace what does he mean by chemotherapy?" Alex says looking scared.
The doctor walks out of the room at this time I guess he could tell that this was really important for me to tell him.
"Alex while you were in your coma the um... doctors did some testing and they found out you have ... Alex you have lung cancer."
Alex starts breaking down into tears and I wrap my arms around him and pull him towards me. He rests he head on my shoulder and I rub his back until he calms down.
"Are you ok now?"
"Yea I guess so."
"Well let's go home."
I walk outside and Kat, mom and Shawn here. They all see and walks towards me.
We walk out the hospital and get Shawn's car and drive to home.
Once we get there I get out the car, the hot sun hitting my face. I turn around to help Alex out of the car.
We all walk up to the apartment and close the door. I help Alex sit down on the couch.
Shawn and mom walked into the kitchen and started talking, Kat sat on the couch with Alex and I.
Shawn and mom walk out of the kitchen and walk over towards us.
"Um grace Shawn has something to say"
I look at Shawn waiting for him to say something.
"Do you want to spend the weekend with me but you now after Alex is ok and all?"
Is he asking me to spend the night over at his place? What?
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean you can come over to my place we can hang out and get to know each other a bit better."
"I mean yeah that fine."
"Ok I will see you later."
Mom walked Shawn out the apartment and closed the door then went to her room.
We all started watching tv and we eventually fell asleep on the couch.
