Grace Browns grew up without her dad around. She still made friends but some of them were guys but she didn't care. She lived in Texas. She was fearless, and loved to sing and dance.
Lucas left her to start over in New York but he didn't say goodbye...

I got off the couch and took a shower, after being on a plane, an hour long car ride, I kind of stunk. After I got out of the shower and dried off I put on a black tank crop top, white skater skirt, see through leggings, with doc martins with flowers on them. I put on my usual makeup, a cat eye with brown and tan eyeshadow, dark red lipstick, etc. I grabbed my phone and my wallet and walked into the living room, Alex had already gotten ready and was waiting for me. Alex was wearing his usual ripped black skinny jeans, and black and white t-shirt but he looked so hot.
"You look beautiful as always"
"And so do you"
We start walking towards the park, Alex was holding my hand while talking about what's been going on since I left. He talked about the situation with Jacob.
Jacob's mom cheated on his dad, she was having an affair for about a year, Jacob found out because the guy she having an affair was walking out their house, with no shirt on and he was buttoning his pants. His dad didn't realize, until Jacob told him and now he is filing for a divorce. It took Jacob's dad, Simon, about a month to file to file for a divorce, at first he thought they could work it out but he realized they couldn't after a week. He started to drink a lot more often, he came home drunk all the time, and he isn't a nice drunk, he started to abuse, Jacob and his mom, Paris. He punched Jacob causing him to run back to the dorms and cry into Alex's arms. I just hope he can go with his mom, I mean yea she cheated but his father abused him.
We finally go to the park, I told Alex about some stuff at school. There was quite a lot of drama at school but not that much. The park was beautiful, the sun was out so it's shining through the trees, the sky was blue with some clouds scattered across the sky.
Alex sat up a blanket and put down the basket, we both sat down and Alex started to put out the food, we continued talking about the stupidest things like celeb gossip but it was nice. For the first time in a long time I feel happy, I spent all of my life sad and depressed and angry at the world because my dad walked out on me and my mom, i once was happy in Texas but that quickly changed since Lucas left.
I never thought I would be this happy as I am right now, sitting down in the park with the sun beating down our faces was the best thing for me.
I eventually finished my food and laid my head on Alex's lap. I looked up at the sky and smiled.
"What are you smiling about?"
"Nothing it's just I feel like I'm actually happy for once."
"Well I'm glad I could help"
Alex leaned down and kissed me on lips, this entire date was so cheesy but I loved it so much.
-- We eventually left the park and went shopping I tortured Alex because I had to buy some clothes and he didn't like clothes shopping. It was hilarious to me.
Right now we back at home, everyone was here including Riley and the gang.
"So how was school?"
"It was... awesome I guess. I mean nothing beats here in New York"
"Hey grace can I see you for a second?"
Lucas pulled me into the kitchen away from everyone else including my boyfriend who seemed very jealous.
"Look I just want out feud to be officially over, I'm sorry I left without a goodbye or a note but I tried to find you but I couldn't find you and I didn't think of a note. I'm sorry grace, you don't deserve that"
"It's ok Lucas I forgive you, for once I feel really happy like I have spent all my life being angry at the world because bad stuff always happened to me but now I don't feel angry anymore."
Lucas was smiling like a boy that just fallen in love.
"What?"
"Nothing its just that I have never seen you smile like that not once. Alex makes you really happy doesn't he?"
"Yea"
"I'm glad"
Lucas hugged me, I didn't pull away because it felt good hugging someone who I once considered as my brother just from another mother. After he let go of me, we walked out of the kitchen and I could the jealousy in Riley and Alex's eyes.
"What did he want?"
"Relax babe he just wanted to sorry for everything, and I I said I forgive him. It's fine"
We're practically whispering so the others don't here us.
"You forgave him?!"
"Yes Alex now get over it. I love you not Lucas okay?"
"Okay and I love you too"
----- This took me forever to write I'm sorry guys I really am. But this is the last chapter! The epilogue is next! Maybe I should write a sequel? Comment what you think I should do!
