Beep beep beep
My alarm was going off. I shut it off and got out of bed and checked the time. 10:00 o'clock sharp. Wow. I put my hair in ponytail and walked into the kitchen and fixed me some cereal. Mom was already at work I guess. After I finished with my cereal I put my bowl in the sink and went to my room and got dressed. I put on my Sports bra and covered with a flannel and put on some leggings and then put on my shoes and grabbed my bag, water bottle and my dance shoes and put that stuff in my bag that I grabbed. I grabbed my phone and headphones and put on my music and walked to the subway.

I got to the studio that I was auditioning at. I was really nervous. What if I fall and hurt myself? What if they like me? What if they think I'm terrible? Stop it grace. Stop focusing on the bad things. Most people would kill to be in your place. I walk inside and go into the elevator. I pressed the button to the 2nd floor. The elevator dinged signaling that I arrived the 2nd floor. The doors open and stepped outside and checked in and waited for them to call me in. "Grace Browns! Grace Browns you can come in now!" A lady shouted. I got and walked in the room. It had a bunch of mirrors along the walls and wooden floor with bars along the walls. I take off my flannel and my shoes and put on my dance shoes and wait for the music to come on. (A/n the dance she does for this in the media btw😉)

I finished my dance. I got up and waited for them to talk. "So grace that was a performance. But we would like to ask you some questions" one of the ladies that sitting at the table said. They asked me question like "have you ever taken dance class?" Do you transportation to come here every week?" After they asked me questions they said they would call me if I got the scholarship.

I walk back to the subway while thinking about the audition. What happens next? Will I get in? What happens when I get in? What happens if I don't get in? This has been my dream school since I was little. I remember when I first found out that I loved to dance. I was in fourth grade doing talent show with the boys and they told I needed to dance in the show so I tried it out and I loved the rush. I loved the feeling you get when you dance. You feel like your flying like your in a new place, a peaceful place. A place where you can forget about everything and get lost in it. Mom tried to get me some class but my gram and gramps had to help out. They got me into a dance class but I needed to practice so they cleaned out the shed and made it into a studio for to practice in. I went into the stupid practically everyday. My mom kept saying that I practically lived in there.

It was my stop finally. I stepped onto the sub away hard ground and walk over to the stairs. Just to my luck it was raining. Great. I quickly ran underneath a platform on the street and waited for the rain to stop pouring. It finally stopped pouring I jog all the way home. I ran up the stairs to our apartment. I unlocked the door with keys and walked inside mom still wasn't home of course. I turned on the tv and put on some teen wolf. I grabbed me a drink from the fridge and sat down and watch teen wolf.

I get a text from Katie saying:

Hey I hope your audition went well! I love you! Also Alex says he loves and misses you!! I do to. Bye girl I will talk to you later!!! Xoxo

Kat is always so happy. I remember the day I met her. I was still depressed about Lucas leaving me. Katie bumped into during school when I was being my usual depressed self. She became my best friend and party friend and then I met Alex and that is a story for another time. I reply back to her saying that the audition went good I guess. She didn't reply of course since she probably is going to sleep. I went to change into my pjs and went to bed. I curled up in my sheets and let the darkness consume me.
