"Lets go and look at art." I say into Matty's chest as he light plays with my hair. The night went by so quickly that I barley remember a thing.
"Okay." He says sweetly
"Or we can lay here and just be..." I sigh
"Art?" He says and I hear his lips curl.
"It sounds like something worth it." I smile against his warm skin and nuzzle my face into him.
"I have to do some work today. Its about to be insane." He says and stretches out his arms yawning while he does.
"Im scared." I say quietly as I look at his face.
"Why?" He asks, his eyes sunken in and just looking so sickly.
"Im scared of the way you look right now, you look like the living dead. Do you feel alright?" I body shakes a bit at the skeletal appearance.
He furrows his brows and stands quickly walking to a mirror and looking closely at his face.
"Ive looked like this for days, love" he says with a frown.
"Oh." I say and look down a bit.
He comes over to me and grabs my chin, forcing my head up to look him. He uses his thumb to wipe under my eyes, presumably leftover makeup.
"Lets shower maybe you'll feel better." He gives me a pitiful smile and walks toward the bathroom.
"I feel like are relationship is based upon sex and highs." I say through my teeth and my body shudders at how true my statement is.
"If thats how you feel, the rest of the week no more drugs or sex. Just us as sober human beings loving each other." He says from the bathroom.
I nod and repeat it to myself, my stomach churning at the thought. I don't know him without these things.
"Deal." I sigh and wipe my cheeks.
I hear the shower start.
"Are you coming?" He shouts.
"I refuse to shower with you again until I meet your
mother." I laugh."Don't tell my mother that." He laughs back
