I went to school in the morning. The semester was almost over, so it was kind of important to go now. I had already done my paper for English, so I had one less thing to stress about there.
I walked into math and sat down, iced coffee in hand. I pulled out my notebook and looked over my notes from the week before, thankfully I understood it all. As I sat waiting, the chair next to me was filled. I didn't look up, I didn't mind anyone sitting next to me. I tried to concentrate on my notes, but then my cup was knocked out of my hand.
"Shit" I swore, jumping up, to avoid the coffee spill. I looked at the person that forced the cup down, immediately feeling my blood boil at the sight of her face "Charlotte. What the fuck?" I yelled, drawing the attention of the rest of the class.
"Surprise bitch. You thought I'd leave you alone"
"What the hell big h. I haven't done anything to you"
"Yeah, you're a comedian"
"Just go the fuck away. It's not my fault Mikey doesn't like you"
"My ass. What did you tell him, bitch? How many horror stories? How many lies, Grace?!" She stood up, flailing her arms.
"None. Jesus, Charlotte, I didn't tell him shit. Move on. He doesn't like you"
"Bullshit"
"Ladies" the professor stood at the front of the class, hands folded tightly at her midriff. "Settle down. Move apart, so we can start. We don't need these distractions. If you're going to continue this, please leave."
"No. We're done talking." I sent a dirty look in Charlotte's direction, then picked up my books and moved across the room.
I got through class, fuming the whole time, still trying to focus on my work. She had the audacity to come so that, when I did absolutely nothing to her. Honesty, she was psychotic, but I was glad Mikey left her.
I got through school and went back home, wanting to tell Calum what happened. He probably hates me after trying to tell the story because I laughed through the whole thing.
"Damn. She spilled your Starbucks. You want another?"
"I like how that's the only thing you got out of that whole story" I laughed
"Yeah. That's rude. You live on coffee. Do you want another one?"
"No. I'm fine"
"Good. Want to go clubbing tonight?"
"Random, but yeah"
"The guys are coming too"
"YES. That means Kai and Elly are coming too"
"Yeah.." He rolled his eyes "they're coming too. Does that mean I get nothing tonight? You're going to dance with them?"
"No stupid.." I smacked his arm, lightly "I'm going to dance with you too"
"Good. I like when you dance" he smirked
"Calum, please. I look like a dying dolphin when I dance" I giggled, rolling my eyes.
"I mean......"
"Shut up"
"YOU SAID IT!!"
"YOURE NOT SUPPOSED TO AGREE STUPID"
"I CANT READ YOUR MIND GRACE. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT?!"
"YOURE MY BOYFRIEND!! YPURE SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO READ MY MIND!!" We both started laughing then, we hadn't had a play fight like this in forever, and it was well needed.
"Go get ready babe. We gotta leave soon."
"Fine" I got up and went to the closet. It had been a while since we had done anything like this, so I needed to dig a bit.
I threw three dresses on the bed. All were tight, all were probably going to ride up as I danced, but that was okay. I was going to look fire. One was black, covered in black sequins. One, was red with gold studs, on the neckline. And the last one was pink, which I ruled out right away and decided to give to Elly.
I put on the black one, deciding it was the most "me" and put on some black heels I curled my hair and did my makeup, pretty dark, but still nice and tasteful.
I walked out of the bathroom, and went to the kitchen. I grabbed a waterbottle out of the fridge, hearing a low whistle as I stood up.
"DAMNNNN" Calum yelled, louder than the small apartment could probably handle.
"Calum, shh, we're gonna get a noise complaint"
"You just look so damn hot babe. I'm sorrryyyyy"
"Yeah, yeah" I shook my head, laughing and took a drink out of my water, feeling his hands wrap around my waist. His lips ended up on my jaw and I pulled the bottle away from my lips. "Calum, stop that. We still have to go out"
"Do we have to go?"
"Yes. We doooo. We have to go"
"Fine." He pouted a little, then planted a sloppy kiss in my cheek.
"You drooled on me" I laughed, pulling away and wiping his drool off my face.
"You wiped my kiss off." He tried to sound insulted
"I wiped your slobber on me"
"You weren't wiping it off the other day" the cockiness evident in his voice.
"Wow..um..alright. Gotta go. Come on" he laughed at my awkwardness and we left.

We were late to the club, like normal, but we got right down to business. Downing drinks, getting tipsy, and starting to dance awkwardly next to the table.
"Okay, I've had enough of this..." Mikey yelled over the music "I need to go find a girl. Have fun losers" he laughed, walking towards the middle of the club, into the pack of people.
"Come on" Calum's hand wrapped around my waist, pulling me towards the dance floor. "Let's go dance babe" his words were slurred and I know I was going to have to drive us home.
"Yeah come one. Let's go"
He pulled me towards the mass of people and got right in the middle, pulling my body against his and starting to rock out hips together. I pulled my arm around the back of his head, grabbing onto his hair. Both hands gripped tighter onto my hips, pulling me against him tight.
"Hey.." Elly yelled, Kai just right behind her. "Bathroom break"
"Why do we all have to go?!" I yelled back
"You're sweaty and gross. Come on" I laughed, turned around, kissed Calum and followed them to the bathroom.
"God.." I hopped on the bathroom counter, feeling the cold marble on my legs. "My feet hurt" I pulled off one of my shoes and rubbed my foot.
"Mine too" Kai complained, leaning close to the mirror to fix her smudged eyeliner. "Get off the counter whore, fix your hair" I hopped down and leaned toward the mirror too. She was right, I looked kind of messy. I ran my dinner under my eye, fixing the black smudges away. Then, I finger combed my hair with my fingers, hoping the curls didn't fall out all the way, but knowing it was inevitable.
"Okay" I clapped my hands together "I'm good. Let's go back out there. I was having funnn" I yelled, filling the small bathroom with echoes, and walked out the door. I went back to the table first, hoping Calum would make my life easy and go back there, to wait for me, but he wasn't there. I walked around the perimeter of dancing bodies and saw his tall head peaking through the crowd. I pushed my way through the people and made my way to him. "Cal!" I yelled and tried to turn him around. He, however, was connected to another girl. Seeing him with her, made my heart sink and tears come to my eyes. "Calum?" I squeaked again. He turned around and took in my appearance "Calum how could you?"
"No..." He pushed the girl, rather forcefully forward, into another guy, which she didn't seem too offended about. "No, Grace, no. She didn't.. No baby"
"Fuck off Calum!" I ran out of the sweaty mass and to the table, knowing he was following me.
"Grace, please" he grabbed my wrist as I picked my purse up out of the booth
"STOP." I yanked my arm from his grasp "go back to her"
"Grace no. She's not important to me. You're important to me"
"Obviously not. You went and rubbed yourself against her, when I was gone for like 5 minutes!! Have fun with her Calum I'm leaving"
"Grace no. Please don't leave me..." I started walking towards the exit, going as fast as my high-healed fest could take me "Grace, stop babe. I'm sorry" he grabbed my wrist and turned me around.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PROMISE CALUM?!? WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT?" I helped up my hand, making the point of showing him the "promise" ring.
"No. Grace. She meant nothing. We were just dancing. I love you, Grace"
"No Calum. Whatever, take it back" I pulled the ring off my finger and threw it at him "GIVE IT TO HER" I couldn't look at his face anymore, so I turned and stomped off.
I ran to my car, not unlocking it before I got there and then fumbling in my purse to find my keys. Hands grabbed my shoulders and I tried to pull away. "Calum! Go away!"
"I'm not Calum" Mikey's voice came from behind and I tinted around and fell into his chest, letting the tears fall onto his shirt. "What happened, Grace?"
"GO ASK THAT ASSHOLE OF A BEST FRIEND YOU HAVE. IM LEAVING" I unlocked the car and climbed in, pulling off right away.
I got to the house and ran to my room. I rummaged through my bedside drawer, haphazardly and found the bag of weed, Mikey had given me. I wrapped it up in the papers he had given me and went back outside to light it.
I took a long drag and leaned against the wall. I smoked only half of it, before putting it out, feeling mellowed, or at least more chill than I had, but I needed food. I found leftover Chinese food from a couple nights ago and started devouring it, without even warning it up. I ate it in bed and finished it, throwing the container on the ground and curling into my bed. I fell asleep full and upset.
