Okay so I have some bitter west newsssss. This is the last update for this, because I don't think I have any ideas after this chapter (which is fire btw) so thank you for reading. Also, check out my other story Neighbors. Okay peace out. Have fun reading. <3

Calum was there for me after everything that had happened. He didn't leave my side for the next four weeks. Even at band practice, he wanted me to be right next to him. They had another gig coming up too, so I knew he was going to be crazy about that, I was okay with that though.
We were getting ready for the gig and he came up behind me, as I did my makeup.
"Hey" he smiled, burying his face in my neck
"Hey" I laughed, pulling my shoulder down to keep him from distracting me.
"Babe... Why're you pulling away?LOVE ME!" He shoved his face further into my skin.
"Can I do my makeup first?" I huffed, with a giggle behind it.
"No. I want to love you now"
"Later, okay babe. I have to do this otherwise we're not getting out of here on time"
"Gahhh" he threw his head back and stomped away "I'll be in our room when you're done"
"See you there" I laughed and leaned close to the mirror. I straightened out my eyeliner and covered my lashes in a couple coats of mascara, hoping for lashes long enough to touch my eyebrows.
I dropped my pajama pants to the floor and danced myself into my super skinny jeans. I pulled a plain white T-Shirt, tying it in a knot, right below my belly button, pulled in some white Converse, and topped the whole look off with my black beanie. I looked back into the mirror and decided that what I needed was dark lipstick, just to make myself look better. I decided that I'd just bring it with, knowing me, I'd want a drink or food, or something before we got there.
I went into the room and saw Calum sprawled on the bed, shirtless.
"Hey lazy bones. You need to get ready now."
"I know. I'm just nervous"
"Why, babe? You've practices this set a thousand times, you're going to do great"
"I know. I just get nervous, you know?"
"Come on, come on, come on" I started moving the bed, giving him the motivation to move.
"I'm up, okay, okay" he got off the bed and slipped an old, ripped up T-Shirt over his head. He looked in the mirror and pulled it back up.
"What are you doing?"
"I didn't like the way I looked. I'll put something else on"
"Oh. Since when did you care what you looked like? Especially on gig nights"
"I know. I just didn't like this T-Shirt, it's dirty."
"I just washed that shirt Calum" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow at him.
"Whatever. I just didn't wanna wear it" he pulled a big, black, lowcut tank top on and pulled a red and blue flannel overtop it. "Good. Okay, this is better." He smiled and sat down on the bed to pull his shoes on. "We can go now"
"Only took two costume changes" I laughed as he pulled me off the bed.
"Shut up." He laughed and pulled me towards the front door. "Will you carry my bass?" He asked, handing my the big case. "I have to grab my phone. I left it in the room"
"And you can't let me grab the tiny phone, instead of carrying the giant guitar"
"No. You already have the guitar" he laughed and ran towards the bedroom, coming back moments later with the phone in his hand " I got it. Let's go"
"Okay here" I put the guitar case back in his hands and let him walk out the door, closing it behind us.
The whole drive to the studio he was silent, most likely trying to work through nerves, so I turned on the radio to fill our silence and sang to the lyrics. Car radio, a Twenty Øne Pilots song,  came on and I squealed and turned up the radio, ready to spit fire.
I started spilling lyrics, right along with the singer, Tyler, and moving my hands, doing what some would call dancing. Halfway through the song, as I ran out of breath, I heard Calum let out a throaty laugh.
"What?" I giggled at him
"You're just a big dorks. That's all"
"I'm not a dork. I'm just animated. Plus, this song is fire, okay? Leave me alone meanie" I pushed his arm a little.
"HEY NO DISTRACTING THE DRIVER!!" He yelled playfully.
"Is this distracting?" I dragged my fingers up his bicep and around to his neck, grabbing the hair at the nape of his neck.
"Yeah. A little. But it's helping calm my nerves, so I'll allow you to keep doing it" I twirled my fingers in his messy curls, until we got to the studio. He hopped out of the car, grabbing his bass out of the trunk, and we walked in together.
"Calum, dude. How you doing?" Michael bro hugged him and came around to pull me into a bear hug.
"I'm super nervous"
"Yeah I feel man" he nodded and swung his arm around my shoulders. "How you doing small child?"
"Michael please. You're only six months older than me. I'm not a child. But I'm fine. Tonight's going to be fun"
"You're like my little sister in my eyes. You'll always be a child to me"
"Really?" I shot a look that could kill at the side of his face, but he didn't seem to notice, and if he did, he didn't care.
"Yes, really? You're a child"
"How do you get that?"
"Well you see, when two people love each other, and they want to have a baby..."
"Ew gross Mikey.." I cut him off, pushing his arm off of my shoulders.
"What?" He laughed "You act like you and Calum don't do it"
"Alright. You don't need to explain that to me though. I don't need the play by play" I laughed, and walked away to find Calum. He was talking to Trevor and they both got really tense when I walked up. "Hey Trevor" I gave a slight wave and snaked an arm around Calum's waist. "Whatcha guys talking about?"
"The set list" Trevor shot out, rather fast.
"Oh. Okay, cool" I shrugged off his weird behavior. "Are you guys feeling good about tonight?" They both glanced at each and nodded their heads "from what I've heard at practice, you guys are going to KILL it. You've got your biggest fan here too" I laughed
"Yeah? And who would that be?" Calum cocked an eyebrow and leaned, slightly, away from me.
"Me, stupid" I laughed, pulling back close to me.
"Biggest fan, huh?"
"Well, duh. Who else wakes up in the same bed as you every morning?"
"I don't think that makes you our biggest fan because you don't do that for me" Mikey laughed from behind me.
"Michael, dude, I will kill you" Calum laughed, with a hint of seriousness in his voice.
"Kidding" Mikey laughed throwing his hands over his head.
They ran a quick sound check, then people started filling in the studio. There were so many people that they were porting out the door. There was no way everyone could get in, which sucked, but was also super cool at the same time.
"You okay baby?" I asked Calum, who was looking a little overwhelmed.
"Yeah" his eyebrows knit together and he shook his head a bit, trying to gather his thoughts. "I'm good. Just nervous. There's a lot of people here"
"There is. But that's a good thing right?"
"Yeah. It is. Uh where are going to be sitting?"
"Right up front, in my normal spot, why?"
"Just so I can find you. You calm me down on stage. I like singing to you"
"Aww that was cute. I'm right there for you babe. I got you." I kissed him softly and pushed his curls off of his forehead. "I love you. You're going to kill it"
"Thanks baby" he smiled and I turned to go to my spot.
I found Luke, Kai, Ashton and Elly and stood up front with them, waiting for the guys to come on.
"Big turn out" Ashton yelled to me, over all of the talking people.
"Yeah. It's great"
The boys got on and everyone went crazy. They got through the first couples songs in their set and then decided to do some talking.
"Hi guys" Michael yelled into the microphone "for those of you who don't know. I'm Michael. I'm lead guitarist and vocals"
"I'm Danny. I'm okay the drums"
"I'm Trevor. I play the guitar and can't sing to save my life"
"Hey guys. I'm Calum. I'm the bass player and I sing a bit" his intro wasn't as energetic as it usually was, but I figured that was his nervousness. "Okay guys so, if any of you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, or you know me in person, you know some personal details of my life. I moved from Australia. You know my best friends, all of them happen to be in the room tonight. You also know that I have an amazing girlfriend" I was so confused as to what he was doing, so I started searching for answers in other people faces, but they all just kept their eyes glued on the stage and a smile plastered on their faces. "So I'm going to call my girlfriend, Grace, up here. Grace." His eyes fell on me and he reached out a hand to me. I felt me eyebrows raise up and make head shake no, in surprise.
"Go stupid" Kai pushed me and I was on the stage, taking Calum's big had in my small one. I shot him a confused look, but he just smiled at me.
"So this is Grace. Everyone say hi Grace" a big hello from the whole studio vibrated my whole body. "So she's been one of my best friends forever. And now she's my girlfriend. She's been with me through a lot. I love her very much and I have a question for her. Michael?" I turned to see Michael smiling, handing Calum a small box, then shooting me a wink. I turned back around to look at Calum and he smiles cheekily at me, all of his nervousness had melted away. "Okay so my jeans are really tight, but I'm going to do this anyway" he took his bass off and placed it on its stand, before getting down on one knee. My hands flew up to cover my mouth and happy tears started forming in my eyes. "Gracie, will you marry me?" He smiled up at me and opened the box. I think I was expecting something along the lines of the promise ring that sat on my  finger, but that ring was so much more. It had a gorgeous diamond right on top of the silver band.
"Calum" I whispered and shook my head "I'd love to"
