When we get to S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry explains to the others that Tony was the metahuman that could morph his skin into metal. "Your childhood nemesis is now an unstoppable metahuman. That is seriously messed up." Cisco says and I nod. "I had a childhood nemesis. Lexi La Roche. She used to put gum in my hair." Caitlin says and me and Barry look at each other and then back at Cisco and Caitlin. "Jake Puckett. If I didn't let him copy my homework, he'd give me a swirly. " Cisco says and I roll my eyes. "Now that we've established that we're uber-nerds," I smack Barry on the arm, "not you though, Tori, what are we gonna do about Tony?" Barry asks and I wonder the same thing. "Glad you asked" Cisco says and walks into the training room. "We're gonna train you, man. Karate Kid style." Cisco says again and moves a blue screen showing a metal dummy and I know that this wasn't going to end well. "Behold." he says again and me, Barry, and Caitlin look at it in confusion. "I call him Girder." Cisco says and I just look over to Caitlin with wide eyes.
"For the record, not my idea." she says and I look back at Barry who is walking up to the thing.
"Fighting is physics. It's not about strength, it's not about size, it's about energy and power. Channel your speed the right way you can totally take this bad boy down." Cisco says.
"Now, obviously, your Girder is a moving target. So..." Cisco grabs the controller and Girder start to move.
"This is safe though, right?" I ask him.
"Yeah, definitely. Not sure." Cisco mutters the last part but I still heard him.
Me and Barry look at Caitlin, "Don't worry. I have ice and bandages standing by." she says and that slightly makes me feel better. Barry shakes his head and turns back to Girder. Girder moves again and Barry moves at lightning speed punching Girder at his side and he keeps doing that. That is until Barry goes in for a face punch and Girder hits his back and side. Barry falls over in pain and I run over to him. "Cisco, this is the stupidest idea you've ever had." I say and kneel in front of Barry. "I'm pretty sure I just dislocated my shoulder." he says and I bite my lip at the sight of his pain. "We are not gonna use Girder anytime soon or in the future." I say to Cisco. I pick Barry off of the floor carefully and take him to the bed in the other room.
He sits on the bed and screams in pain as Caitlin examines his shoulder. "Ok, not gonna lie. This is gonna be quick but extremely painful." Caitlin says and we hear Barry's cellphone ring. "I got it." I say picking up his phone and seeing that it's Eddie. "Hey, Eddie." I say into the phone and turn away from Caitlin and Barry. "Tori? Where's Barry?" he asks me and I turn to look at Barry. "He's sort of busy at the moment." I say and bite my lip. "Ok, well, tell him that we found the stolen Humvee in the alley of Fremont and Lawrence and that we need him down here to do his thing." he says and Barry and Caitlin look at me. "Ok. I'll tell him. Bye, Eddie." I say and hang up on him. "What did Eddie want?" Barry asks and I put his phone down on the tray of medical supplies. "He says that they found the stolen Humvee in the alley of Fremont and Lawrence and they need you down there to do your thing." I say and he nods. "Ok. Ok, let's do this." he says as he lays back on the bed.
"So, Barry, when you said you were off duty last night, you weren't visiting Iris again, you know, in disguise?" Caitlin asks.
"No." he says lying and I smack his good arm.
"Good." she says and pops Barry's shoulder back in and he screams in pain.
After he was healed, he got changed into his other clothes and gives me a quick kiss the speeds off. I look over to Caitlin. "He went to go see Iris last night, didn't he?" Caitlin asks me. "Yeah, he talked to her about the blog." I say and she nods. "You know, we still have to test your powers in combat." she says and I smile. I smile and laugh a little as we walk to the training room. "I could destroy Girder, if you want?" I say and she laughs too. "No, let's leave Girder alone, or else Cisco would get mad at us for destroying one of his masterpieces." she says and I nod in agreement.
