I'll Be There in a Flash

When I get to the house, I start looking everywhere for Barry and call his name. "Barry?" I call him, but I don't hear anything. I walk into my room and look to see if Bates hid him in here, but no luck. I walk into Barry's room and the first place I look is the closet and when I open it, I see Barry on the floor tied with duct tape and his mouth covered with duct tape too. I turn Barry over and see that he's still unconscious. "Barry, wake up." I say shaking him but he doesn't wake up. I get up and go to the kitchen and grab the oregano knowing that that herb smelled the strongest for me and Barry. I go up to his room again and put some oregano on my hand and put it up to his nose. He wakes up and I unscrew the lid and dust off the oregano on my hand. I take off the duct tape and he groans in pain and I kiss him. "Tori, what happened?" he asks and I take off the tape on his wrists.

"Bates happened. Turns out he found out where we live now. He knocked you unconscious and was impersonating you. I, being your girlfriend, noticed it wasn't you, and Iris and Caitlin are taking him to C.C.P.D." I say and he widens his eyes. "What? Why?" he asks taking the tape off his ankles. "She came to talk to us about Bates impersonating Eddie and I saw him taking out a gun. I was about to blow my cover of being Hummingbird, when Dr. Wells taser gunned Bates." I say. Suddenly, I get a call from Caitlin and I answer it. "Hey, Caitlin, did you and Iris make it safely to the precinct?" I ask her. "No. Bates morphed into a young girl and made some construction men think we kidnapped her. Bates is gone." Caitlin says and I groan. "Ok. It's ok. We're gonna head back to S.T.A.R. Labs right now. We'll see you there." I say and I hang up.

"Bates got away. He morphed into a little girl when they were going to the precinct and some construction men thought that Iris and Caitlin kidnapped her and he ran." I say.

"Ok, we're gonna get him. Question, did you kiss him?" he asks and I look down.

"It was just when I barely got here. Don't blame me that I thought it was you. If he was me, you'd do the same." I say and he laughs.

We were at S.T.A.R. Labs and I just didn't really pay attention to what Wells was saying. Barry just had his arm around me and my head was on his shoulder. "Hands on the metahuman." Barry says and I smile wanting to kick Bates ass. "Hands on the metahuman." Dr. Wells repeats and I look at Barry with a smile. "I'm so gonna kick his ass like there's no tomorrow." I say and Barry laughs and pecks my lips. "And to help you two do that, Dr. Snow has concocted a solution we believe will stop him." Dr. Wells says. "Yes, I've made a serum that will create cortical reaction around his cells." Caitlin says. Dr. Wells says something else and Barry compliments Caitlin on the work. Soon the computer beeps and I look at it. "We got a ping on Barry's cellphone. Looks like Hannibal Bates is at the airport." Caitlin says and I nod at Barry. "Payback time." Barry says and I nod. "You have no idea." I say and I change into my suit and Barry changes into some clothes to scope out the crowd to find Bates.

At the airport, I just waited for Barry to tell me where Bates would go. I was hiding inside the building already on the steps. "Tori, he's headed for the maintenance room." Barry says and I run up the steps and get to the maintenance room to see Barry already with Bates. "Hannibal Bates!" Barry says to him and he just stares at us. "I think you've both mistaken me for someone else." he says and I shake my head. "I don't think we have." I say and we walk a little closer to him. Barry had the syringe in his hand and was about to inject it into him, when he suddenly changes into Caitlin. "Wait, it's me. Please, don't hurt me." fake Caitlin says and I see the pepper spray in her hand and I flip to dodge it. Bates starts to beat up Barry and I flip over to him and kick him down. He morphs into Barry and I widen my eyes, "You know, you're really cute." he says in Barry's voice and I roll my eyes knowing Barry was right there in his suit. I punch fake Barry on the cheek and kick his stomach.
