The next day I put on some burgundy shorts, a loose white Maroon 5 shirt with a white tank top underneath, and my converse. I put my hair in a knotted ponytail, put on my makeup, grab my bag and head out. Me and Barry head to S.T.A.R. Labs with Joe and Eddie and we tell Eddie everything. "So, Wells set up a fake showdown with a fake opponent who was never really there?" Eddie asks and we nod. "He figured if we saw both of them together, it would prove he wasn't the man in yellow." Barry says. "This all just keeps getting crazier and crazier." Eddie says and I nod. The elevator opens and Caitlin walks out of there, "I just talked to Dr. Wells. He's attending a lecture downtown, won't be back until 5." she says. "Alright, Cisco, when he gets here, work on the trap so he sees you set off the hologram." Barry says and Cisco nods.

"Hold on, isn't that in your dream when everything went all...?" Joe asks fading off.

"Kali Ma," Temple of Doom, yeah. That definitely happened." Cisco says.

"But this time, I'm ready for him. I originally designed the force field to keep a speedster from getting out. But I've reversed it. Now it won't let one in." Cisco says and taunts Barry to come at him.

"Don't do this, Barry." I say trying to convince Barry not to run into the force field. Barry pushes me back and tells Eddie and Joe to back up. I should know my boyfriend is sometimes stubborn. Both Barry and Cisco nod and Barry speeds over and the force field throws him back into the cart. "Barry!" I say worriedly and run over to him. I kneel next to him as he gasps. "It works." Barry says and he slowly sits up and I smack his head."Te dijo que no lo hagas, pero no! Tienes que hacerlo!" I say in Spanish angrily and knowing Cisco would understand me, but not the others. "Uh, translate please." Eddie says to me as I slowly help Barry up. "She told him that she told him not to do it, but no. He had to do it." Cisco says to Eddie and he nods in understandingly. Barry kisses me and I kiss him back and when we pull away I smack his head again. "No lo hagas otra ves." I say in Spanish still angry and everyone looks at Cisco. "She told him not to do it again." he says and they nod and he nods at me.

"Anyways. As long as I'm inside the force field, Wells won't get near me." Cisco says and we nod.

"And I will be in the Cortex watching and recording everything that happens." Caitlin says.

"As soon as we get the confession we need to free my dad, I'm moving in. Tori, you're gonna be in the Cortex too." Barry says to me and I furrow my eyebrows.

"No, I wanna be down here with you and Joe helping." I say.

"No, Tori, you can't. Who knows if this plan fails he might kidnap you like in the article we saw."

"He might still do that if I'm up in the Cortex too." I say.

"Please, Tori." I nod in agreement to stay with Caitlin and watch them and he pecks my lips.

"So, what do I do?" Eddie asks

"Wells also threatened Iris. So if something goes wrong here, we need you to keep an eye on her until Wells is neutralized." Joe says.

"I'll always keep Iris safe, Joe." Eddie responds coldly and walks away.

I look at Barry and he looks at Joe with a serious face, "What?" Joe asks him. "Come here." Barry says and they walk into the halls for privacy and I sneakily follow them. "So, um, Eddie told me what happened, that you kiboshed his proposal." Barry says and I widen my eyes. He was gonna propose to Iris and tried to get Joe's blessing, but Joe denied. "That was between me and him." Joe says to Barry. "I so agree with that. And I know we have a lot going on right now. And I should be the last person pleading Eddie's case. But I don't get it, Joe. Why did you say no?" Barry asks and I wondered the same thing. "Because if Eddie proposes to Iris, she's gonna get caught up in the moment and the romance and she's gonna say yes." Joe says.
