I'll Be There in a Flash

There were people in trouble under a power line. I was riding on my motorcycle over to the place and Barry was speeding there. When we get there, I kick the stand down and take off my helmet. I run over to the car and I look at Barry. "The door's jammed." Barry says to me and I look at him. "Use your speed to unlock the hinges on the door." I say and he does as said. "Get him, I'll get her." I say and he nods and grabs the guy. "Give me your hand. I'll get you out of here." I say to the woman. She reaches out to grab my hand and she eventually grabs it and I start to pull her out when I see a line of fire head to the car fast. I pull her out and Barry grabs her and I flip away from the car and it explodes. I walk over to Barry and we see the couple hug and I look at Barry and he looks at me. We look back at the couple and they look at us, "Thank you." the man says and we both nod with a smile and I head to my bike and put my helmet on and ride back to S.T.A.R. Labs.

When we get back, I was standing at the far left and I look down and just remember the couple that me and Barry had saved. They were so in love and they looked so happy. "Tori, are you there?" Caitlin asks waving her hand in front of me. "Yeah. Sorry, I was thinking about something." I say and I look at her. "Oh, I was saying that, that was amazing what you did out there tonight." she says and I put a small smile on my face and nod. "Yes, your training is paying off. That couple is alive tonight because of you two." Dr. Wells says and I nod. "I'm gonna head home. I'll see you at home, Barry." I say and I walk out and head home with my arms crossed. I know everyone at S.T.A.R. Labs is wondering why I'm acting like this, but they don't know what's going on in my head.

When I get home, I change into my tank top and pink penguin shorts and I put my hair up in a bun. I take off my makeup and sit on my bed connecting my phone to my beats speakers and put on Like I'm Gonna Lose You by Meghan Trainor feat. John Legend. A few minutes later, I hear a knock on my door and I open it to see Barry there. "Hey." I say opening the door just a little bit more and lean on it. "Hey. Is everything ok, because everyone's noticing that you haven't been acting like yourself these past few weeks." Barry says and I nod slowly. "Tori, tell me the truth." he says and I'm afraid that if I tell him the truth, something bad might happen. "I can't. I'm just afraid of all the possibilities of what might happen if I tell anyone." I say and he puts his hand on my arm. "Tori, you can trust me. We've been like that since third grade." Barry says and I look down. "I can't. I'm sorry." I say moving away and shutting the door and locking it behind me. "I can unlock the door, you know." he says through the door and I laugh a little. "Break the lock and my dad will kill you." say and lay back in bed. I guess I found my answer about my ex-boyfriend living in my house. It got better/worse.

I wake up the next morning to hear rustling. I get out of bed and walk downstairs to see Barry getting a quick breakfast. "What's going on?" I ask still groggily and I sit on the breakfast bar. "Joe called me to say there was a breakout last night at Iron Heights and I have to check it out for evidence." Barry says and I nod. "Ok, well, make less noise. I'm trying to sleep." I say and start to walk back up. "Sorry, but to my offense it's already like 9AM." he says and I groan. "It's Saturday and I'm Mexican. I sleep in, let me be." I yell back down and he runs up and smiles at me. "Let me sleep, Barry. I never sleep in anymore." I say and he laughs. "Ok, but when I call you, don't yell at me." he says and walks back down. "No promises." I yell down and close the door behind me. I lay back in bed and turn on the music to Memories by Shawn Mendes. I start to fall asleep and I stop the music and soon I was fast asleep.

I hear the phone ring and I groan and pick it up. "What?!" I ask coldly yet groggily. "I told you not to yell at me." Barry says and I roll my eyes with them still closed. "And I said "No promises"." I say opening my eyes and take out the bun and shake my hair. "You need to come down to S.T.A.R. Labs. There's a possibility that there was a metahuman the night of the breakout." he says and I sit up. "Ok. I'll try to get there as fast as I can." I say and pick out a pink crop top, a pair of ripped jeans, my black leather jacket, and pink pumps. I take a quick shower, put on my makeup, curl my hair, and get ready. I grab my phone and I head out only to see Barry speed towards me and I get scooped up and soon I was in S.T.A.R. Labs. "I could've had a quick heads up." I say as we walk over to the lab. "Sorry, but this was urgent." he says and I roll my eyes. We walk in and I see on the monitors a sample of cells that move really fast. "Is that the Reverse-Flash's cells?" I ask out of curiosity. "No, some one else's. We're thinking it's Clay Parker." Joe says and I look at him confusingly.
