Chapter 12: Here We Go

Heathers POV

I turned on my phone after I woke up.

1 voicemail.

It was Steven. He said he was going to the police station to make an appointment that we could go to together. He said to call me when I woke up.

Just as I was about to dial Steven's number, my phone rang, surprising me.

It was Courtney.

"Hello?"

"Hey bitch, good morning. Last night was crazy right?!"

I laughed. "Yes it was fun. Where did you and Joe go after the concert ya skank?!"

She giggled. "Back to his place."

"And?"

She took a breath. "We had sex...and it was amazing. I can't wait til you and Steven do it."

I chuckled. "We're taking it slow--.."

Court stopped me suddenly. "There's another thing though Heather.."

I froze. "Well what?" She sounded serious.

She took a deep breath. "Well, we didn't use protection."

I gasped. "Courtney!!! You always use protection? What the hell? What if you get pregnant?!"

I was in shock.

Courtney sighed. "We were in the moment. But, I don't know. I'm worried. Should I get a pregnancy test??"

I chuckled sarcastically. "No not at all Courtney.....I paused, of course you should get one you fool!"

She laughed nervously. "Okay okay, I'll go now, and ill call you with the news, good or bad."

I sighed. "Okay boo, Ill talk to you later. Bye."

We hung up.

Now back to calling Steven.

I dialed the number.

"Hello?" His delicious voice answered.

"Hey babe. I got your message."

He laughed. "Good baby. Well I went down there and the sergeant I talked to said we could come tomorrow around 12. Is that okay?"

I took a breath. "Yeah of course, as long as you come with me. I need you."

I could feel the genuine care in his voice when he spoke. "Of course baby. I'm there for you through this whole thing."

I smiled to myself. "Okay Steven. Ill see you tomorrow."

He laughed. "Can't wait baby."

After we hung up, I texted Court telling her to come over with the news, and that I would be waiting. I was so nervous for her. But either way, I would be there for her through it all.
