A couple days later.
Heather's POV
I was hanging on to Steven's shoulder as we walked inside his house. The hospital had released me, and I didn't wanna be alone so of course Steven took me to his place. But we had stopped at my place for things because I was gonna be there for a while.
~~~
Steven gently sat me down on his couch.
"You need anything babe?" He asked me.
"Prolly a drink. I'm a little stressed." I chuckled.
He gave me a serious look. "Okay, but only one young lady."
I laughed. "You're not my father, you're my boyfriend."
Steven raised his eyebrow at me. "So?"
He walked into the kitchen and poured me a drink. He brought it in the living room and sat down next to me on the couch. He pulled me closer to his chest. With that movement, I winced.
Steven looked concerned. "Are you okay?"
I sighed. "Yeah, it's just my ribs.."
He kissed my forehead. "I'm sorry about all this, you don't deserve any of this shit. You came here for escape, and you didn't get that."
I sighed. "Baby it's okay. As long as I have you nothing else matters. We can face the world together. I'm home."
He smiled sexily at me. "It's good you say that."
I raised my eyebrows "why?"
He took a breath. "I want you to meet my kids."
I was in shock, so I tried to sit up. I winced. Shit. I forgot my ribs.
Steven looked worried. "Heather stop doing that!"
I laughed a little. "Okay I will. But meet your kids? I'm like their ages. They won't like me."
Steven laughed. "Of course they will. You're perfect."
I sighed. "Okay..."
Steven pulled my face down and kissed me. "What if they come tomorrow? Here? It's not like you can leave babe. Liv and her son are here for work, and Mia just got here from New York, and taj and Chelsea have been here."
I took a huge breath. "Okay. I'll do it."
I smiled up at him seductively.
"But there's one condition."
Steven came closer. "What?"
"Let's go play. I'm home now."
Steven picked me up and carried me to the bedroom. Damn, was I happy.
