Chapter 35: Pink and Blue

Steven's POV

I gripped Heather's hand tight as I helped her outside.

"Joe!" He was right behind me. He opened the door.

"I'll meet you guys there." He said.

I got in and we started to drive. Heather was breathing heavy.

"Hurry up Steven..please" she said with a short laugh.

"Just breathe baby."

She winced. I looked at her worried. "Contractions." She said.

I grabbed her hand again. I wanted to calm her down.

When we got to the hospital, I helped her out and into the lobby of the hospital.

"My fiancé is in labor!!!" I yelled at no one in particular.

A nurse with a wheelchair pulled up next to us and motioned Heather to sit down.

"Sorry, sir you'll have to stay out here. We will let you back when the labor is over" the nurse said.

I sighed. "Okay" I gave Heather a quick kiss. "Good luck, baby."

"Steven, I'm scared. Stay with me."

"I can't babe. They won't let me. But you can get through it. I love you. And in a couple hours, well have a beautiful set of twins baby."

She smiled. "See you soon."

2-1/2 hours later

Joe was sitting next to me, with Courtney on his other side.

"She'll be okay bro." He said to me.

I sighed. "I hope so..."

Just then, I heard my name.

"Mr. Tyler?"

I sprung up and walked up to the nurse.

She smiled at me. "Congratulations, you have two healthy twins!"

I felt myself tear up. "Can I see her?"

"Follow me."

I walked into the room, and the tears flowed.

Heather was holding our little babies in the pink and blue blankets.

I sat down next her.

"Baby...they're beautiful.."

Heather smiled up at me. "The girl is named after her mother, her middle name, April Tallarico Tyler, and the boy, after his father, Steven Jr."

I smiled and kissed her. "Those are perfect."

"Do you want to hold them babe?" She asked me.

Heather's POV

Watching Steven hold our twins is beautiful. To think about all we've been through, and he's here for this, makes me happy that I'm marrying him.

He was talking to them, "daddy loves you, wait til you find out who he is"

I laughed and rolled my eyes.

Just then, Court and Joe walked in.

Courtney had tears in her eyes. "Hey boo" she hugged me. "How do you feel?"

"Like I've just been through 2 and half hours of labor" I said sarcastically.

She laughed, and looked at Steven holding the babies. "They're beautiful Heather."

"Thanks Court"

Joe was sitting next to Steven.

"You guys ready for this?" He asked.

I looked at Steven.

He winked and smiled that sexy smile.

I laughed.

"I guess we'll find out in a couple days when we come home from this place."
