Chapter 29: Accident

Heather's POV

I woke up the next morning around noon. I was so happy. I was free from Jason, and I was engaged to the love of my life. Plus Steven and I had the best sex last night. How much better could it get?

I got out of bed and went into the kitchen. A few minutes later, Steven came in.

"Good morning baby" he said, wrapping his arms around me, and kissing my forehead.

I blushed. "What are the plans for today?"

He smiled. "How bout something normal? Shopping?"

I raised my eyebrows. "Um, you're a man, Steven, if you haven't realized." I chuckled to myself.

He laughed. "I want you to shop, I want to buy you the world."

I ran my fingers through his hair. "I already have that, babe. But i guess we could go---"

Suddenly, I felt an overwhelming feeling of nausea.

"Hold on.." I let go of Steven and ran into the bathroom. And I let it out.

I wiped my mouth and my heart started pounding. What the hell?

I walked out to where Steven was sitting on the couch. He immediately jumped up.

"Heather, sweetheart, are you okay?!" He looked so worried.

I stuck my hair behind my ear. "I'm fine...I think. I just threw up??"

I sat down on the couch and Steven sat down next to me.

He gripped my hand. "Well,

maybe.."

My eyes widened, and I looked at him. "Maybe what?!"

Steven sighed. "Maybe...well we didn't use protection last night.."

"No, there's no way I can be...that P word!"

Steven chuckled. "Pregnant?"

I looked down at my hands. "Yeah, that."

Steven gripped my hands. "We can go to the doctors next week and see..I mean, I wouldn't be mad to have another kid."

I sighed. "Are you sure? I kinda just ruined your life...you're a rock star."

He laughed and pulled me to his chest. "It was an accident. But now, we have to deal with it. We're getting married anyway. And I'm kinda happy, babe. I love you Heather, and this is perfect."

I took a deep breath. "You're gonna come with me right?"

Steven tickled me. "Obviously."

I don't really wanna go shopping now, I thought to myself. We kinda have a crisis now. Holy shit, how crazy was this?
