"Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle all the way. Oh what fun, it is to ride, on a one-horse open sleigh. Yay!" Your mother sang, clapping her hands to the rhythm as she looked at your smiling figure. You were 4 years old, living in Florida, USA. With sky blue hair and bright light blue eyes, you were definitely a special child. However, this special child, is one of the unfortunate ones. You had a sickness, where you can only live the first 10 years of your lives. After your tenth birthday, you life will end. Sad aye? Yeah, that happens to those who were born with sky blue hair, very unfortunate. Your parents tried to find a cure, but to no avail. So, they decided to spent the 10 precious years since the day you're born with you. Today was 24th December, (4 years after birth year), Christmas Eve. Tomorrow will be Christmas, and also your birthday.
"Yay!" You replied in a cute voice, making your mother squeal. She looked at the time, 9.30pm. You were yawning and rubbing your eyes, sitting on the floor. She smiled warmly, lifting you up into her arms as she headed to your room.

Entering your room, she laid you on your toddler bed as your little hands grabbed the air. She hushed you, sitting beside your bed and tucking you in. "Tomorrow's Christmas, and your Birthday! Are you excited? Alright, sleep tight now. You have to behave, so you will get presents from Santa!" Your mother talked to you excitedly, patting your head gently as you blinked groggily.

"San...ta?" You asked sleepily, rubbing your eyes.

"Yes! Santa. Now, go to sleep now. Sweet dreams, my dear (Y/n)." And with that, your eyes rested as your body goes to relax mode. Your mother smiles as she stood up, walking out of the doorway as she threw one last glance at you. You were her only purpose in life. She wouldn't want to ever think of what will happen when you turned 10 years old. A sad smile replaced her cheerful one. Looking at your peaceful face one last time, she turned and turned off the light, closing the door as darkness envelopes the room.

Tck. Squeek. Thump. A slim woman wearing red and white steps into your room. A large brown sack with presents was slung over her shoulder. She set it down. Taking out a box wrapped in blue and white, she placed it on your bedside table. She was Santa, the one people know to give presents on Christmas night. Her name was Samantha. Looking at you, her heart softened. She had been there since you were born. Something brought her there. To the hospital. To your mother's birth ward. Her instincts. Her instincts has never done that before, so she knew you were a special child, a little too special, I should say. She heard it, about your condition. She accompanied you when you were alone, most of the time somewhere around you, looking after you. She became your imaginary friend, or better, second mother. When your parents aren't around and they hired a teenage babysitter, she would take care of you, as you know, teenagers just took up the job for the sake of money. They just need to be sure that the baby is safe, and back to doing their own things, like playing with their phone. You had told your parents that Sam was real. They didn't believe you, but went with it since they do not want to upset you and trigger anything. Sam loved you. You were a special child to her. She would always find a chance to visit you, even when she was extremely busy.

"Yarr-hmm. Hm...who are you?" You awoke, sitting up and rubbing your eyes, blinking at the dark figure. Sam looked at you and smile.

"Hey little (Y/N), how's my boy doing today?" She greeted, sitting across from you and on your bed. You smiled.

"Santa..." You opened your arms, small hands grabbing the air as your vision adjusted. She smiled at your actions, lifting you up and into her arms, pulling you into her embrace. Pulling back, she tucked you back in your bed.
