"Silica-chan!" Your light-hearted voice reached the mentioned girl's ears. She stopped in her tracks and looked in front to see you sprinting towards her. Silica watched as you stopped in front of her, a goofy grin on your face. Out of the blue, you hugged her, startling her and causing her to tense. "I missed you," your voice turned soft, quite rare actually. You were the hyperactive and cheerful kid, your voice always loud and cheerful as you talked, eyes glimmered in excitement. However, your voice now was quiet and soft, that's a change. Her eyelids blinked rapidly as she relaxed, letting the fact that you're hugging her sink in...you're hugging he- She quickly pushed you away as she turned around with a huff, a deep hue of red covering her cheeks. "Y-yeah, whatever."

You chuckled. "Aw, come on, Silica-chan~ Say that you missed me," you whined, shaking her by her shoulders. Silica flushed as she turned to you and look down, muttering words. You looked at her with an eyebrow raised. "What did you say?"

"im...ou.." Her voice was a bit more audible, but her words were not clear. You cupped your ear. "I can't hear you, Silica-chan~ Louder."

"I MISSED YOU! There! I said it!" Silic shouted, pouting and puffing out her cheeks as she crossed her hands. You smiled, planting a tiny kiss on her cheek as you pat her head. "Good girl." She blushes deeper as she felt your lips on her cheek, then your soft hand ruffling her hair. She swatted your hands away as she faced you, eyebrows furrowed as she look at you with an angry expression. "Don't touch my hair, you'll ruin it." You sweat dropped. "Hai hai."

"Ngrew." Silica's blue baby dragon who was watching the whole scene jumped onto your shoulder, nuzzling against you cheek as you laughed. "Missed me huh, Pina?" She eagerly nodded her head, licking your cheek affectionately. Silica watched as you two played, a feeling swelling inside her. Is this... Jealousy? No. It can't be. She dismissed the thought, reaching our her hands and pulling Pina back, placing her on her head. Pina whined, wanting to be with you. "That's enough, Pina." Pina quietly obeyed and stayed still.

It was about one year since you two knew each other, about one year when they released a new VRMMORPG Sword Art Online, and about one year since 10,000 players were trapped in this death game. You were the first person that Silica has met, before you two decided to separate and get stronger to meet again in the future. Well, it seems that fate really has brought you two together. Silica was 13, You were 15. A major age difference, I should say. Sometimes with the way you act, people might just think you're a 13 year old kid. However, nothing stopped her from falling for you.

"-ello? Silica-chan? Anybody in there?" A hand waved in front of Silica's eyes as she blinked and went back to 'reality'. She turned and saw a worried expression on your face. "Thinking about something?"

"I guess so... Just remembering what had caused us to suffer in this death game..." She grew sad. You sighed, pulling her into your embrace.

"It's ok. It's in the past now. All we have to do is defeat the 100th floor boss and we can get outta here," You commented optimistically, trying to comfort her. Silica's head was buried in your chest, her words muffled.

"Ok..." You smiled, before pulling away.

"Hey, let's get some lunch. My treat," you suggested, pointing a thumb to yourself. She giggled at your antics, nodding her head as you started leading the way.
